"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Before I got with my X, I met her best friend and we became good friends! She really didn't talk to my X that much but when I wanted her to hook me up with my X, they started talking again. Then the bestfriend got with this one dude G, and we became good friends. Well after a year of a bad realtionship me and the bestfriend started to talk more about how the opposit sposses were treating us. We became closer and she even came to cry on my shoulder real late at nights about all the BS. It got the point were we would talk, hang out, and go do shuff that we that are sposses wouldn't want us to do, secreatly!!! She broke up with her man and I didn't like nomore guess he tried to fight my cousin from behind. And Me and MY X split on real bad terms but what can I say. Me and the bestfreind still talk every once and a while but she also still talks to my X obviously. I kinda feel for the bestfriend and I got a real good hunch that she has done the same over me. What Should I Do? Should I go for it??

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I wouldn't mess with that.. you could make a serious mistake here and lose a good friend. Juss keep talkin to her, leave it as is for now. If she really wants something, she'll find a way to let you know.
