"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I work at a huge company with over 350 employees, and of course many employees come and go at a business that large. It is also worth noting that I'm 41 years old and happily married. I enjoy breaking the ice with both men and women there that I don't know... A great way to hone the chit-chat and social skills.

So, this evening I was taking the trash from my department to the large compactor in the back of the building. When I get there a newer gal I don't know is already there, tossing the trash from her department. She's not very attractive, but that's not the point. The point is trying something new, right?

So here's how it goes down:

Me: Do you ever think of Star Wars when you're throwing your trash in this thing?

Her: Huh? Do I what?

Me: Think of Star Wars. You know, the scene where Luke and Han are trapped in the big garbage compactor... Haven't you seen the movie?

Her: Yeah, I've seen it. But, uhhh, I never think of that while I'm back here.

Me: Oh. Well I do. It makes throwing the trash away much more exciting.

Her: (As she walks off) Ok, see ya. (Laughing at my expense)

Me: Later. (Walks away, shot down like a TIE Fighter at the Battle of Geonosis)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yes friend, you are lucky, Grocery Store is a GREAT place to meet women, they are off guard and their focus is in another place which allows you to initiate in many unique ways. (jokingly put fruit down back of neck when not expecting it, flirtingly steal food from basket or cart, or if working at till refuse to hand back their change with grin on face)

Next time, I would not speak about star trek, in my country of birth (Israel, to an African father and Jewish mother) those that speak of such childrens cartoons above the age of 3 are often beaten, sometimes cut, usually laughed at for days.

Luckily this happened out the back as you were carrying out your primary role as an employee, but make sure it does not happen in front of anyone else, or in front of any other females.

Women generally lack any kind of sense of humor in a casual social setting. If she is attracted she will laugh like crazy, but attracted and laughing or not, most humor will shoot right over her head. No comprehension and no ability for friendly banter. These concepts are alien to most women.

Dont get me wrong mate Im sure you had your reason for such joke but everybody should know that star wars stand to women as twilight stands to men.

And what is so funny about somepeople getting pressed while standing in the middle of trash? It remind me one of my friend that once invited for a milkshake, politely declined for the reason that it makes him fart very loud.

Girls are already looking for any possible reason to drop you without us doing our best to help them in such task.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

well it really depends on the girl, but generally id avoid any references to science fiction or anything nerdy or even just cool unless i knew for a fact the girl was into that stuff herself. like i see this really cute girl at work who actually wears star wars shirts, that line would totally work with her.

i had a similar situation not too long ago at work where i saw this one girl using some kind of giant electronic hand scanner type thingy, and i mentioned how it looked like the device egon used in ghostbusters and this girl had no clue wtf i was talking about, as soon as i started talking about it i knew it was a bad idea. remember ghostbusters? she had never even heard of it lol, i felt like such an idiot in the middle of trying to explain to her who egon was and how his device was used to detect ghosts, jesus ****ing christ it was terrible.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Doesn't seem like your happily married at all.

Why are you hitting on other girls?

You're absolutely right. I've been saving that Star Wars open all these years for just the right unattractive girl. If things would have gone better, the next step would have been to invite her to the Mos Eisley Cantina on the planet Tatoonie for drinks after work.

What the hell is wrong with you?

You even said yourself that she wasn't that cute, so you really shouldn't care.

And even if she was.. don't think it's game yet. I've done a lot of trial and error in my day, and you'd be surprised how many girls will come back and admire your "geeky/nerdyness".

You opened with a Star Wars opener.. but how many other guys in your company do you think went out of their way to talk to her? I mean, other than the people she directly has to work with/report to. Probably not that many.

Props for stepping out of your comfort zone.

Thanks for the mod comp! I think some of you guys are forgetting the true meaning of the Don Juan. He doesn't just chat up the gals he wants to sex up. No, he talks to any women who may cross his path, as well as any men. He works on self-improvement and doesn't take things too seriously. The Star Wars open was not something I'd pull out the hat if I was serious about a potential hook-up, believe me.

Congrats to those who actually understand the gist of this thread.

You can't hear it but I'm yelling "Nerds!" at my computer like Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds right now.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
