"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

My prom date SHOT ME DOWN (FVCK)!

I've had a few posts about my prom date and what i should do if i wish to pursue her. we hadn't talked too much since prom four days ago, so i just decided to be bold and go balls to the wall. i needed to know if she was interested before i spent any more time on her. i wanted to force it out of her at school, but we were in a rush so she said to call her. this is the fateful conversation that just occured...

Me: So Elena, i wanted to talk to you, i guess, about where we stand (here we go  ) See, i think you're very attractive, and i guess the best adjective i have for you right now is "interesting". so, I'm very interested in taking you out sometime soon and getting to know you better, and i was just wondering what you thought.

Her: Well, (FFFVVVVCCCCCKKKKK  ) the thing is, i'm not really looking to date anyone right now, cuz there's only one week of school, and blah blah blah.

Me: just because it's summer?

Her: it's not you, it's anyone. i have to get a job blah blah blah, have to get stuff sorted out, blah blah blah, go to school (WTF? one, we're already in school, and two, in one week it will be summer, so under which conditions would you date?). But i'm flattered (oh, OKAY, at least there's that  ).

Me: Alright, i understand (obviously i didn't, but i didn't want to act like an ******* and keep prodding her)

I honestly thought that i put myself in good position to get at least a date out of her, if you don't believe me, read my last thread
http://www.sosuave.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53155

I guess at this point i need some support because the last four girls that i've actively pursued over the past year have gone like this: Not dating, Ditched at winter dance (not my fault, honestly, but i ended up dancing with WAY hotter chicks), Have boyfriend, Not dating. as you can imagine, these rejections suck, and they're not getting any easier to deal with. i don't understand it. i'm a confident, highly intelligent, decent looking, and i have no trouble talking to girls (especially hot ones).

Ergh i need some words of encouragement to get me goin again!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

:( sorry dude that sucks

Well the one thing i can tell you is that chicks and nothing but tricks and hoes. Don't trust them, they're just out to **** you over.

You'll just have to realize there are other fish in the sea, and that she's not worth your time. Just next her, put on a smile, and get some digits. Lifes like that sometime. you just gotta bite the bullet and keep moving.

I hate girls that give long reasons why she doesn't want to date anyone at the time. Especially when the use the "LJBF" line shortly after.

You sound like you handled it pretty well, well done.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This is the "are you interested?" approach of the early 1990s... nice but not applicable to today! Only in MOVIES and ideal romances do people confess their love to eachother!

The new 21st century approach is much like this:

"Ay I was wondering like what you view me as, like I was wondering how you look at me, like from your point of view?"

You NEVER EVER EVER confess your feelings. Seldom are they returned at an early stage! You put the balls in their court. Are you in charge of your balls or are they?

Go from there. If she ends up saying "You're a great guy but I'm not looking for a relationship right now", don't be like "ohh that's cool I guess".

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Say this: "Oh for real? Same here, I don't like the whole commitment thing, I'm just looking to have some fun. I mean its high school and ****, no real reason to be fallin in love, ya feel me?"

Then somehow bring that topic into "Do you want to juss mess around and have fun without commitment and ****?"

If she thinks you're cute but doesn't feel comfortable doing it, talk her into it. Make her think "OMG this guy sounds like he sure can HAVE FUN WITH ME!"

That's all girls care about nowadays anyways.

All those quotes, use them VERBATIM (word for word), because they make it sound really casual.

Happy hunting, kiddies, and dont worry WCK, keep your head up! SMILE! :)
