"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"If you're afraid of your boyfriend's response to rejection then I don't think you're worth my time"
=======================================================

Last night started as a normal night round my friend's house, playing video games etc etc. Around 10pm there was a ring on the doorbell for my friend to come out, there were 2 girls, one I knew from college and her friend who I can't say I'm attracted to, I tagged along with them to have a laugh and get the chance to talk to the girl I liked more than the brief "hey!".

This is the point to say the two girls were slightly under the influence of alcohol :/

We began walking to the girl's house I liked to get some drinks, on the way I found she had a boyfriend, I'll talk more about him later. On arrival at the girl's house we all sat down in the living room, had some drinks and talked about anything and everything.

While talking I noticed the two girls that knocked on the door had their full attention on me 95% of the time, extremely flirty. I was sitting next to the girl I liked and the other girl was on the sofa about a meter away. The girl sitting next to tried to maintain constant contact with me whilst sitting next to me, I enjoyed this :D, she also made many comments about how hot I looked at the time.

One of the guys in this room made a comment about the girl I liked, I think she took it the wrong way and went outside in the garden, I think she was half hoping I'd come out to talk to her.

I went out and began talking, we moved away from the reason she originally came out and I moved the topic about why she feels her relationship isn't going too well. She felt that he was "too nice", now, being a victim of being "too nice" myself not too long ago, I immediately set out a battle plan.

We went back into her living room and she began talking about how all the guys like this girl and they don't pay any attention to her, I read this as "please, give me attention, I think you're hot". The girls kept offering me drinks of the tainted variety to get me p*ssed, I gave in :D. The girl I liked would say things like "I'd like to have my wicked way with you", all this time her boyfriend is in the other room and I'm thinking "crap, what if I get stuck in a huge mess". I tried to hint that the only way she could be with me is if she left him.

The same sort of thing continued till midnight when we had to go.

The girls decided to come tag along with us and when we got outside the girl I liked was all over me, Touching, hugging, rubbing etc etc, until I had to shove her away, because I shoved her away she hit me and hoped I'd respond violently towards her, I softly punched her in the gut (at least, soft as far as you would normally hit another guy). This immediately turned her on and she said "I've finally found a guy that will treat me badly". She lept and hugged me. All this time I'm thinking, she's pissed and she has a boyfriend, I enjoyed the attention either way. She couldn't have looked so hot.

I gathered the nerve and said to her "If you're afraid of your boyfriend's response to rejection then I don't think you're worth my time". She was even more into me when I said this. That is when I knew there was no point in trying to talk sense into her. So I just played along and enjoyed myself with my crush. I would do things like have my face close to hers as if I was about to go and kiss her and then just walk past in the direction we were walking to build up her anticipation.

We arrived at my friend's house and began walking back to their house again because the girl I liked wanted to talk some more. I would constantly do things like push her away and pretend to not take any notice of her purely because the reaction she gave to it turned me on.

Once we got to her house again we talked for a while and she immediately discussed meeting up again and she said about how if we come round tomorrow morning we would have pancakes etc, I just stated we might come round if we feel like it. She looked very pleased.

Before we walked off I gave her a firm, cheeky grab on the arse and just walked past without looking back. I can only imagine the look on her beautiful face :D

I decided not to go to her house the next day, mainly because I didn't want her to feel that I'm more of a FRIEND who comes over daily to have a general chat. I wanted her to keep the sense of anticipation.

The next day I rang her mobile number (which I got last night) and asked her if she enjoyed the night before, she replied "I had a great time, although, I'm afraid I may have looked a bit weird", I replied something supportive back, what I said has slipt my mind. I said "I had a great time too, hey, tell you what, like to meet up again next weekend? I'll be at my friend's house again most probably", she was pleased with this and offered to move the day closer, I was open to this, but I realise now that I probably should have refused.

I just stated "see you soon", waited for her reply and hanged up after she finished talking. Roughly an hour later I sent her a text saying "If you need to be treated badly, call me"

And this is where I am now, pondering over my chances with her, It's driving me nuts. How do you think this will turn out? Any tips for our next meeting? Any mistakes I've made that I should correct with her?

EDIT: I'm afraid I may have come across as a complete fag and woman beater, which I can assure you I'm far from. I respect her as a person and I'm seeking the best for her as far as her relationship with her boyfriend, I feel I may be contributing to the breaking up a long-term relationship. Which is not what I want to do...I just want her to be happy.
Many thanks,
- Dero

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

She's totally into you dude. Next time you see her, don't keep messing with her and actually kiss her.

Thanks for that, made me feel a lot better about the situation. :)

She texted me at 7pm last night saying "I just found found a bruise on my arm! Guess how it got there! x x x"

Seemed she was excited about it, the message also seemed like a cheap shot at making conversation. I decided not to text back to build her anticipation. I'll call her back in a couple of days, enough so she's gagging for it, but not enough so she's gotten bored of waiting.
