"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Today after getting orientiation for my new job I was all to happy to leave. I went to the front of the store I work at and I saw a women. This women remined me of a girl that broke my heart a few years back and I started to feel bad. Then I thought back to how my heart got hardened and how bad I felt.

Needless to say I learned a lot of lessons. The first lesson I learned was this:

Why do I have to feel bad if you break my heart. Life is way to short and I have to much sh!t to do to worry about besides you. I should worry about myself and family more.

Secondly why should I think I'm not worthy and want to improve myself. Granted I do want to improve myself and be a great person, but why should I do it because you don't like me. I'm proud of myself and don't need you to like me because I love me and others do too.

Lastly, I'm looking forward to the future. Hell why not I spent all this time growing up becoming a man. I will be very glad when I get to where I want in life, and I'm going to enjoy the process. Screw what others think or expect. Well those are my thoughts about this, I hope you guys found this to be a positve read.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Listen just consider negative things in relationships a learning experience. Most people go through heartache one way or another. And remember what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I recently got over my oneitis(which was one reason that brought me so sosuave) I feel much better now than I ever had when I was with her. Sometimes oneitis makes us blind.

Best of luck to you chosen 1:up:

Thanks young what you said is what i'm doing. I'm kind of mad I have a harder heart then I use. Then again it's a good thing now I can see through certain things and judge more carefully. I also would still be meek and not speak up as much if I hadn't have had heart break so everyone should go through it and learn their lesson at least once in life. Thanks for posting and keep positive thoughts coming.
