"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Greetings everyone! I am new here to SS.. Actually, I'm really not new.. I've been lurking the posts for quite sometime.

Right now, I am still an AFC. It sux because it like a disease that you can't get rid of. I just recovered from an AFC like situation. I am glad that most people here have already learned to not be kicking yourself for 10 months. Whenever I began college a couple of years ago, I became good friends with this one girl. For the longest time, we were still in the friend zone. Just last April, I fell for her, and then ended up kicking myself in the process. Here's where the AFC kicks in... In May, I finally told her everything I have felt about her. She called me back a month later, and thanked me for everything, but that she dosen't feel that it is the right time for her to have a relationship with anyone. She comes from a real conservative background, where they believe they shouldn't date anyone unless they know they're real serious about the guy they want to be with. I made the AFC mistake, and kept pursuing her. After we went to different schools, much of it changed. Now, were both going to the same college, but haven't gotten to speak. Just last week, a friend of mine said that he saw her in her work place and found that she was flirting around with other guys. There, my trust for her went down the tubes. I realized that it could never work out between us, so I NEXT'D her. By looking back, what makes me upset is not her stance on relationships, but the way she kept fending off contact and stuff. It also irks me that I was using soo much logic instead of emotion. However, I decided to move on w/ my life..

Just a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to work on self-improvement.. any advice guys? Right now, I'm working on clothes and have been working out. I am also using proactive and seeing if other dental stuff works. I am really making an effort at it.

That same thursday, after one of my classes, this one girl came up and talked to me, I was wowed b/c she came to me. She came again and talked to me yesterday. It was great for me, although I may have been a little overbearing. I was just excited, I may have forced a little too much in the convo, and not enough EC. I also need to work on C & F.

Yesterday was also a good day for me. I talked to another girl in that class who is also in my 8 AM class, I think our personalities are better for dating anyways. From my former school, I bumped into all kinds of hot girls. In the library, one even turned around :) Yall have to have seen it...

I may be at a great disadvantage since I commute twice a week, therefore social activities are limited...But anyways, it looks as if I'm heading in the right direction.

Any advice from you guys? It would be greatly appreciated! I need it b/c believe me, I am still very much an AFC.. but I'm trying!

Thanks!

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I finally told her everything I have felt about her.

Never, ever do this again...

although I may have been a little overbearing. I was just excited

This is a common mistake. Allot of guys don't know how to control their emotions. Keep your feelings in check. Lay back and relax.

Yeah, I know.. I thought it would work with that type of girl, only to realize she probably dosen't give a sh!t in the long run.

Yeah, I bumped into another girl yesterday from my old school, which was good. Were just in the friendzone, but it was nice to at least get her number...

I've said this before on here, but when you go to the malls, make small talk with the sales girls. This is a great way to practice C&F. Don't try to 'pick them up', it's to early in the game for that #1, #2 you're just putting added stress on yourself. It's about practice and getting comfortable talking to girls.

Greetings everyone! Today has been yet another triumphant day in my new beginning. For the time being, I think I'm just going to work on my lady skills and build confidence, and get to know some girls before I'm ready to committ. In my 8AM class, right before it started, CW girl 2 (Now, I know her name) came to me and asked about if we had any assignments. After class, we made eye contact and then left. Come my 2 PM class, there I talk to a couple more good looking girls.. one being a HB8. Finally, the girl who I've been talking to after class was there again. It was a nice convo. I finally got in her name and interests and stuff. I even got to be C/F and it worked!! It was kind've a short and to the point convo, but still not bad What a good day for me!!! For some, it's no big deal, but for me, this is huge! It was even good day for making EC with girls all around. I am still welcome to any and all forms of advice!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Wow, I am still such an AFC, I got done talking with a couple of girls and they said they can always tell that I'm nervous. I know the signs ...

Lack of Eye Contact
Speed of talking
body language

did I leave anything out?

What does it take to kill this nervousness???

Time.

As soon as you accept yourself and embrace what's good about you, i.e. know your strengths, can you really be confident when talking to people

To be honest I dont think you are really AFC at all anymore. You recognize your weaknesses and try to address them. That is not AFC behavior in my book. You also talk to girls so you dont seem scared to open. I guarantee that you can close if you followed through.

I have been the same way with the one-itis and it seems a lot of folks on here have been as well. You realized it though and moved on. Congratulations. Seize your opprotunities while they are there and build new ones if you choose to.

You really dont seem like you need to build confidence as you already have it. I have a feeling that if you follow up with these girls and go out with the intentions of having fun that you will be back here with some good news.

I actually differ from a lot of folks on here about the friendzone in particular as you put it. If you want a friendship and dont hit on a girl than I think it is a positive. At the least it gives you social proof when you are seen with women friends. It also gives you confidence in having real conversations with women. You need that confidence if you desire long-term relationships vs. shorter flings or ONS.

I think your situation is a lot better than you think it is. Maybe you should commute back and make yourself available for more social activities on days you normally wouldn't. At the least this will give you a chance to meet more people, socialize and expand your circle of friends. It will also open up chances to meet girls and interact more. And you will probably have fun doing it.

I think you are well on the road to meeting girls and being happy. Quit calling yourself AFC as you aren't and go out and do what you wanna do. Best of luck.

Belividere, thanks for your positivite response. I am working on it. I know there's nothing over night, but i'm certainly glad to know that there is a bright future. Now, the reason I've been calling myself AFC is from past mistakes, and even now, I'm really not in position to call myself a DJ..

Just my .02 ...

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
