Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Greetings!

I've come to this site after reading The Rational Male. I'm just getting into the game phase of my life, but I'd say I've been red pilled for about 3 years now. Critiques of feminism from the likes of (youtube Sargon of Akkad, Thunderf00t and Karen Staughn helped me confront the red pill and realize hypergamy was a thing. I suppose my first real taste of the red pill started in Highschool and into college. Constant rejection or LBF routines started to wear me down. Some friends took notice, especially after being the consistent 3rd (or 7th) wheel when hanging out. Few would offer poor advice, others would claim they'd find me someone, only to never mention it again. I was bitter for a while, but time heals all wounds.

Reading TRM, Rollo's point about the nice guys being the status-quo really struck a chord with me. It never occurred at any point that my attempts to be the nice, open and understanding guy, was just a tactic every other dude was trying, and next-to-no-fish were biting. Somehow I managed to get laid, and just like Rollo said, it only validated the AFC mindset I held.

I'll be 29 next month. Though I wish I looked into game/redpill stuff 10 years ago, I'm glad I've found it nonetheless. I've started running again, and I'm learning to life weights (reading Starting Strength). This time I'm working out because I know I can better and it's to make my life better, not for someone else.

Sorry about the novel ;)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Welcome to these forums. You'll find greater philosophical diversity regarding women here, of course we are all right in our own minds.

Being the status-quo isn't really that bad, if it's just at a good level. However at a bad level it serves to keep oneself at that level.

Welcome aboard, you seem to have a good mindset. Dont worry about your age, plenty figure this out a lot older.

Of i can give you one tip, dont hate the player (women) understand the game.

Too many new redpillers get bogged down in resentment and anger etc, forget that.

Life is to be enjoyed, learn the game, improve your life, become the best you and have fun with it.

And hit the gym hard man, those noob gains in the first few months are all kinds of awesome. (But get a good routine and nutrition so you dont waste time)

Glad to have you here.

My thoughts exactly. Lifes too short to stay bitter at these things. It's why I've come here instead of something like MGTOW, which I can understand where they're coming from, but it's an unhealthy approach. Women aren't the enemy, they're just different (no matter how much your philosophy/liberal arts teacher wants to convince you otherwise) and you have to change your tactics.

For sure. I'm just taken aback at how much I... settled? Time for change :)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Oh yeah, I can certainly relate to being tired of the same old. There's two types of change though, for better and for worse, keep it on the better side.

Welcome here
Even if I eat your chocolate cake?

Maybe should read..."never apologize for being awesome, like chocolate cake!"

Being cake, we're the thing women love and resent at the same time?

Supply/Demand = economics 101

Welcome to SS. I always like intro posts like yours because now we can be nearly certain that you are not a troll. :D And yeah 29 is a good age to see the light. You got lots of time to make the best of it. It was ~35-37 for me. But for many guys they go to their graves at 70-80-90+ and never see it.

Exactly right. Whether a guy is trying to be a nice guy, or conversely trying to negate nice guy behaviour, he's not being authentic.

The harsh reality is, a man has to change himself for the better, in earnest, for himself, in order to realise potential.
