My hair receding hairline is starting!! DANG IT

Hey guys this suks i dont like the fact that my hailine is going deep dang! Well its not all deep but i do notice it starting too What can i do about it?

ignore chad....he gives out bad information. Do a search online, maybe ask a couple people in the mature man thread, because most of them probably have dealt with it already. It really isn't that big of a deal, I know a kid who hairline started receeding at like 16 yrs old.

you could change your hairstyle and let it grow extra long on top then do a "comb over" to hide it.

or you could get a very short all around haircut to make it less noticable.

it's sold through all the beauty salons.

I was really going bald:about 5 inches of roundtop was thinning.

My hairstylist suggested I use Nixion, which I scoffed at. But she seemed so knowledgable that I figured I'd try it.

One month later my 5 inches of roundtop had become 2 inches of roundtop.

You have to catch it in the stages where it's still thinning. If you're compeltely skin on top it won't work, but if you catch it early Nixion really does work.

And it's not that expensive!!!!

This is what a hair stylist told me:

"I have been told that as you age (from teenage to young adult stage) you will get a more noticeable hair line. Recession is going to take place and your going to have a different hair line."


How do you know if your hair is receding? I have seen young guys going bald, but i'm honestly not sure if i could tell if i was losing my hair. Just what exactly are you looking for; is there some obvious sign?

You sound like my buddy Ed. He's had a receding hairline since 16 as well.

Wear hats, like he does. Either that or get Rogaine or something. Or just deal with it and realize hair alone will not pull chicks for you.
