"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

background: we both go to the same school, she sleeps in my dorm room about 5 times a week, and i sleep in her's once a week, and we see eachother pretty much everyday unless we're busy with homework or something. but yeah, lately we've been arguing over little ****, almost like brother and sister.

so she comes online today and i'm on aim and she messages me saying that she thinks we should take a break. she thinks that we've been spending a lot of time together and it's almost. she thinks we're too close, almost like siblings. she doesn't have the same feelings like she had in the beginning, and she thinks this break will fix it...

so to sum it up, she's lost attraction... wtf do i do to get it back?
it might be too late, but is there anything i can do..?

If being close makes people lose attraction, how the hell do people get married?

Get busy dude. No matter how close 2 people are, they need their own personal space to explore and expand their horizons. Go on a road trip without her, talk to more girls, hang out with a few hotties.

That being said, I still have to say that sometimes this is the prelude to a bigger revelation, with the most common one being her cheating on you and finding a better guy to keep. Pessimistic, but I won't rule it out. So it is best to show her that you can still have fun without her, and then invite her to have fun together again after awhile.

Firstly, take it like a man.

That means chuck the sh*ts. You spend almost every day together and she breaks up with online?!? WTF? Sorry foomee but she sounds like a bit of a flake. I personally would really bust her balls for trying to dump you over email (or whatever...) and dump her to her face for being so disrespectful.

Then I would go out on a hardcore bender. Gather together your most unwholesome buddies and get on the beer like never before. Make some new legends to be whispered in awed voices about the school.

If possible pick up a new chick.

If that doesn't get her running back to you I don't know what will.

JJ

p.s. I'm not joking.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

If you want her back, agree with her. Don't protest, don't really talk about it, just say I understand that want you to take a break. Don't go all AFC on her by calling her to talk, get all needy, argue, and don't defend yourself. Just agree with her with her decision. By not protesting and agreeing, she will come to your defense and second guess her decision. (Sounds counter-intutive, but let her come to your defense).

Even if you have to fake it, go out and have fun, showing her that you don't need her and that you have your own value. Let her contact you. Talk to other females (jealousy is very powerful).

Be patient. Show indifference.

Let her make the moves. She will come back.

First of all, let me state me and my ex-girlfriend were in the same boat except well I throws down the penis and she had no ability to leave me. Wat ended up happening and wat WILL end up happening to you if you don't take this break...

You're fighting will get to such extremes over the smallest of things, i'm talking she misplaced your favorite tie and next thing you know you're throwing her pet snake out of a 10 floor highrise... sorry i'm having flashbacks, but you get the idea...

If you're in a LTR (meaning u guys have been together for 6+ months) then this is the most logical destination for this relationship. It's good for both you and her, for a relationship to work like someone already said you need to maintain your own lives apart from each other... to appreciate the time that you do spend together... too much time = time taken for granted....

If you love or care for this girl, the only way to save this relationship is for you guys to 'take a break', this girl is actually trying to salvage the mess thats become of your relationship. Don't listen to these other guys about she's cheating on you (very REMOTE possibility) or that she's lost interest in you...

If this is a longer term relationship and not just a few weeks sort of thing, then she still has interst in you, but she's losing it and wants to rectify the situation by 'missing you'. Let her miss you bro, I'd agree until I ran blue in the face and enjoy my time apart, she'll come back... guaranteed

A couple that goes on a break is just missing the letters 'up' at the end.

Sorry but I think you have to move on... and in the future, try not to act like you're freaking married.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Would tend to agree, except in more serious relationships exceptions must be made

well at first i decided, heck we're in college, i'm supposed to live my life and just have fun so i think breaking up with her would be good for both of us. and a friend of mine asked me... "are you afraid of actually breaking it off cuz you don't want to? or to see her reaction? or are you afraid of letting go of osmething good?" and i thought to myself... a relationship like this is extremely rare. i'm surprised it's lasted nearly 10 months seeing how we saw eachother practically everyday. so i don't want to just let it go to waste. i want to try my best and see what happens...

but now if i try that i'll have to live with the possibilities that she may always be thinking about what else is out there.. because if she doesn't experience it, she'll keep thinking about it. we're young, we're only sophmores in college, and it might be best to see what else is out there.

but the thing is, i think love like this is very rare and i want to work hard and do whatever i can to keep it going. so any advice on what to do to keep it going or how to talk to her would be great.

I completely have no idea why someone that young would even bother with an exclusive relationship. What is the point? You're not going to stay together anyway so what is the point? Being in a relationship that young is nothing more than a contract between two people not to fvck others for a limited amount of time in an attempt to play grownup and for the girl not to have to be so jealous all the time. At least in an adult relationship you know it COULD go the distance so it might be a worthwhile investment, but no quality 19-20-21 year old girl is going to stay content with one guy to go the distance. She's very likely to run off with the first guy she meets that makes her panties wet and then run around you in circles proclaiming to be confused.

All the girls i know that have married young or have been with the same guy for YEARS are ugly to marginally attractive or emotionally screwy who just CLING to their guy to have a sense of self and stability in their lives. They're not near complete people, think they can't get anyone else, and have no view of the world outside of "us" with no sense of "me."

Just get out now and stop committing to any form of a relationship for at least a few years. Meet a lot of girls and get a few fvck buddies and get experience with how people and females REALLY are. I tell you now I read all this stuff.. i've read the bible a number of times.. i mull over all the mistakes i see made by you guys on here, i relive my own mistakes... i try to apply some of this don juan stuff in my life and absolutely nothing works better than getting out there and doing it.. i've tried kino and c&f and all that **** to varying degrees at times and had it blown up in my face... but those are just learning experiences where i didn't do it quite right (or the girl was just a dumb b1tch) but as you try more and more and refine these things it starts to become second nature. Sure, you'll get some girls p1ssed and some will think you're creepy and that's just fine because you'll eventually find out to what degree and how to use these principles and it'll start working for you consistently.. Learn this stuff at a young age and start applying it now because i regret getting to 26(almost 27) in 'the real world' and staring at 30 going sh1t why did i waste so much time?

If i could do it again i'd:
1. never have relationships that young
2. start lifting then
3. start practicing social skills with women back then
4. never have accepted a job in a small town with limited women with artificially inflated egos due to scarcity

I really feel like i'm behind the curve when i read those of you who are 19-20-21 and fvcking girls left and right. I feel like i wasted college and passed up on a huge experimental playground.

Do it in a respectful way. Tell her "thanks" for showing you the light. Tell her that she was right, you were spending too much time together. Then go out and do what your suppose to do. Enjoy college. Get drunk and sleep with strangers.

The simple fact is the divorce rate for marriages for people who get married before 25 is higher than 90%. Your not ready, she's not ready, so even though she's a great catch, you have to accept that the timing isn't always right.

Whenever a woman says "I think we need a break" she's not completing the sentence correctly. The correct sentence is "I think I need a break FROM YOU."

Also, when you get to a point in any relationship where you behave as brother and sister, she will consider sex with you to be incest. This is a kiss of death.

You don't get her back. You walk out on your feet as the PRIZE she just lost, not on your knees like the chump she already sees you as. You sit down and you think about why the fukk you'd even consider having a girlfriend at 19. Then you make a promise to yourself to Spin More Plates and stay non-exclusive and non-monogamous until you're 28.
