"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Man my friends are so lame now. I only talk to a couple friends and they're my good friends but they never want to do anything! I'll say let's go to the club/concert/etc and all of them say they either don't want too or have no money. My really good friend is busy messing with young girls , like 15, and never wants to do sh1t. When did everyone get so lame? I'm a doer I can't be cooped up in a house all day but going out alone isn't all that fun. Wtf should I do ?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If you're only 19 and it's like this, believe me this is just a tip of the iceberg it's only going to get A LOT worse as you get older.

Where do you live, is it a small town or large city? Are you currently working or in school? Give us some background info on you and what you like to do and we can give you more specific, targeted advice.
good to hear it gets worse -__-. Pretty small town, i work usually friday , saturday and sunday but not usually fridays. I go to school monday - thursday full time majoring in BioChem trying to make my way to med school. I like to lift, play guitar, any type of sport, run, mountain bike, hike , html/css, computer games and sleep (as most college students do :D ) . Thats prety much it. I knew life after high school would be less fun and more work but come on ..... college life is supposed to be pretty damn fun from what I heard.

Make more friends?
I'm kinda in the same boat, but I'm not too bothered about being alone. I go out fishing sometimes, most of my friends aren't interested, so I take my dad. :D

It's a tough spot. If you're in school, find ways to introduce yourself to people and get to know them a bit. Suggest going out as a group to make friends. I know this sounds routine, but it's not always easy.

A couple of years ago, I moved away from home for work. At the time I left, there was a group of 8 of us who were good friends. When I returned home for a few days, I was stunned to learn that they don't hang out with each other anymore. They all do nothing. I keep in touch with some of them, but it sounds a lot like your situation. Unfortunately, you can't immediately bolt elsewhere.

Sounds like you are dependent on others for your self-esteem ...

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

See this is why I don't understand some of the posters here. So wanting to have friends makes you weak, Quiksilver? I know the goal on the site is to have inner confidence and not let outside factors affect you (to a degree), but let's be reasonable (this goes for anyone):
-People need friends.
-Going to a bar by yourself is NOT the popular move.
-If you don't use social networking sites because you're simply not into it, that's fine. If you don't use them solely because you think it will help your "game," you're letting others affect you.
