"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I just stated hanging out with this guy who is turning out to be one of my best friends. But of course....Theres a problem. HE'S GAY. relly gay. fist day i saw him i was 80% sure he was gay. everone knows it. Its not that hes a total drag queen or anything though. Hes pretty well liked and almost all the freshman know him. I just want to know what i should do. I dont want everyone thinking IM GAY cause im not.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Then don't act gay and have mores self-confidence. If you know you are straight, then actstraight, and people wil know you aren't gay. And if people judge you by who you hang out with, then they aren't worth the energy invested in whether they are your friends or not.

Get caught flirting with girls. Simple as that. Continue all of your straight behavior. A lot can be learned from gay guys in terms of taking care of your appearance and that type of stuff (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy). Also, girls may just respect you more knowing that you're not a stereotypical homophobic pile and thats theres something deeper.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

This thread should be deleted by the mods for stupidity. So you hang out with a homo and want advice on not to be perceived as a queer? how about NOT spending your time hanging out with a homo and instead getting a girlfriend and hanging out with her??

If you spend your time hanging out with goths what do you think people will think? you are probably into gothic stuff. If you spend your time hanging out with hippies what do you think people will think? you are a hippi.

Let me just say this. If everyone knows this guy is a homo as you say you already ruined your reputation. What do you think all the guys in your classes think of you? they probably question your manhood. You lost a lot of respect from all the guys.

what about the girls?
lso, girls may just respect you more knowing that you're not a stereotypical homophobic pile and thats theres something deeper.
WRONG! THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE! girls say they like good guys, while everyone in this forum know they are attracted to confident, ****y, jerks and dangerous guys. The same applies to this situation. If girls know you are a homophobe they will be more attracted to you because they see you aren't a p**** like the rest of the guys.

adrenalynejunkie if you are gonna give crap advice stay out of this forum. So you say girls will like him because he is 'deeper' than the other guys? how does hanging out with a homo mean that he is deeper than everyone else? have you read the dj bible? girls aren't looking for 'deep' guys, they want exciting, confident, ****y, dynamic, dangerous guys/jerks.

Im not starting a flaming war, all I did is prove that your post was full of crap.

Seriously you should be banned for your post. You could ruin the fella's life with that advice. Seriously nobody in their right mind unless those trolling on purpose tells a fellow guy to hang out with a homo to attract girls. What do you want to do? ruin the guy's reputation and make guys and girls think he is a homo?

First off, pull your head out of your azz.
Second, tell me where I stated that hanging out with a gay guy will score you chicks? If the guy is already friends with the dude, it shouldn't matter if he's gay or not. Plus, if you haven't noticed, girls flock to gay guys, they love them. If you're a straight guy who's best friends with a gay guy, they may just see you as one of those "well rounded and caring" guys that so many of them are 'looking for'. It may just help him out. Plus, like I said, think "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". His life won't be ruined unless his other friends are homophobics such as yourself.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Girls flock to gay guys because they are gossipy/girly and friendly, but girls don't flock to them because they are attracted to them sexually duh! so you think he will get chicks this way? the only thing he will get is girls thinking he is also gay and having girls talk to him about doing their nails and the latest school gossip!

You are such an idiot advising him to hang out with a homo saying girls will see him as attractive. If you want to advice him to hang out with anyone tell him to hang out with football players and the rest of the sports players. Those are guys that girls flock to because THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO THEM, big difference in a group that girls like because they are attracted to them (sports players) than a group girls go to because of friendship (gay guys).

and since when did girls look for 'well rounded and caring' guys? oh wait you heard this from a girl right? they only say this because of society expectations, they never tell you what they really think (they like strong men, ****y, confident, dangerous) have you read the dj bible? have you looked around you to see who is getting the chicks? obviously not. Read dj bible before you give advice.

Obviously I've already got a basic idea of what the average girl goes for. I've got some gay friends and they've got some damn hot chicks that are THEIR friends. Believe me, those chicks look up to you when they realize that you are afraid of a gay guy. You can't be confident and strong and a "man" if your AFRAID of somebody just because of their sexuality. Now can you? It's like being afraid of spiders because they've got 8 legs, oooh big and tough huh? All I'm saying is that if you fill your life with descrimination, you're going to screw yourself over in the long run. Let's take a friend of mine for example. True story, so just read it.

Let's call him John. John and I picked up this girl and her friend at the mall. John hit it off with this girl, let's call her Amy. John and Amy met a couple times over the next week and things got relatively hot between them. Amy seemed really into John. Well, one night Amy and I were hanging out with a couple of her friends, one who just so happened to be gay. I called John up and invited him over. Throughout the entire night, John kept bagging on the gay kid. Kept *****ing him out, making fun of him. You know what happened to John? Amy *****ed him out and left his ass. Point of the story? By accepting other people, you will often come out on top of things. By being a close minded little prick, you'll often lose things. That gay kid and I were decent friends for a while, and much to Johns dismay, I ended up going out with Amy for a couple months. Get the picture? Girls want a man, not some sniveling little girl whos afraid of gay people. It's just like being racist. If you go around saying "Those stupid n*ggers" chances are girls aren't going to like that too much. By being friends with a gay guy, it shows girls that you're open, you're diverse, adds a little mystery because ALREADY, you're not like other guys. Now I'm not saying walk down the street and hold his hand, just don't stop being friends with him because he's gay. That would be a stupid thing to do. It's called "not giving a **** what other people think" its another manly trait that women love. Got it?

Ill just wait and see whatpeople start to think of me. in the meantime Joe, stop being a stereotypical bastard. People can do what they want to do in life, like choose to be gay. You chose to be afraid of gay people right?

So if I don't like to eat carrots does that make me afraid of carrots? Am I now a carrot-o-phobia? Please, don't go down this road. and I know you're going to bring up racism (and no, gay people aren't a race). Well, sorry to misinform you, but don't compare the two. When was the last time a gay person was kicked off a bus? When was the last time they had to go to separate schools? Hell, blacks are still picked on more today than any gay person ever was. You're too little informed on this issue to really know shiat about this arguement, so please don't bring it up.

Are you kidding me. Your name is Joe the HOMOPHOBE. PHOBE meaning phobia means your afriad. Carrots has nothing to do with this. I get why some people think it is weird. I understand why you dont like them or whatever your point of view on them is, but dont go around telling people that its not right. People can do whatever they please. I asked this question to get advice, not to get a lecture from a kid who stereotypes gays to makeup and nails and thinks that are creepy and thinks no one should respect them.

And alot of other straight guys think hes cool. Im not the only straight guy in the world that talks to him. But we do hang out a lot after school and on weekends and dont want people to think that im gay but i dont want to lose him as a friend.

Just keep flirting with girls. Keep DJ'ing. Keep a manly aspect in your life. Sports, lifting, girls, cars. Not to stereotype, but generally speaking, gay guys are rarely into such stuff.
