"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Alright so my flatmate, we'll call him Brad, was seeing a girl he's known since last year at college. A few weeks ago she invited Brad over for a movie. He brought a 12 pack a beer and spent the night at her house to watch a movie and get drunk, just the two of them. He didn't make a move and he said "nothing special happened" not even a kiss, and he slept on the couch. When I asked whether he likes her he said "I don't know yet" (but it's obvious he does).

Then Brad said this chick has been cold to him the past 1.5 weeks and sent him a text saying she's mad at him but didn't explain why, and has been no contact ever since. I asked Brad if he thinks it could have happened during or around the movie night (because that's what I figured). He says "Yeah it seems like if anything happened to make her mad at me, that was the night."

And I told him "Yeah dude...she wanted you to make a move on her and you didn't, so now she's mad." And he was in denial about it. "Oh no dude, she doesn't like me that way, I know that's off the table" etc. I try talking some sense into him but he wouldn't budge.

Is there any hope for guys like Brad and AFCs alike who have their head that deep in the sand? It almost reminds me of how I was years ago. Of course after seeing it from a new perspective it all just seems so obvious now. I don't know of any girl who would invite a guy over alone to get drunk and spend the night and not want him to make a move. Smh. Will some people never learn?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

If he cares then he's a beta.

Sometimes that might happen but as long as you don't care you're good. Don't let sex determine your attitude

He won't see reality until he takes the "red pill"

He hides behind his beta mind set and uses his white knight mentality as an excuse for his failures. Ex. Women aren't like that, they don't like sex etc etc

If your trying to teach him then that's good.

How many of us can trace the origin to our memberships on this forum back to a vicious break up or general frustration and ineptitude in the dating world as opposed to casual curiosity to see what all this red pill fuss is about?

You're trying to appeal to him logically in a case where it seems like getting him over to this side of the fence may first take shaking him up emotionally, something she (or another girl) stands a better chance of accomplishing, and then you can bet he'll be all ears. A little unfortunate, but judging from this board, I'd say it has a tendency to work out quite nicely in the long run.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Obviously if you and a woman are having alone time like that it is because she is interested. Sounds to me like he is afraid of making a move or putting himself out there because then he can be hurt. And just because I guy isn't AFC and a guy is independent doesn't mean he still can't get phucked over. If the bish is mad that means that she is emotionally engaged, sheprobably isn't really mad, she probably thinks that something must be wrong with her because he didn't make a move. Although deep down she feels it is her own shortcomings she blames it on external factors in order to negate her feeling of being insufficient.

Leave him be until he asks for help. You can't make anyone swallow the red pill. Just enjoy the train wreck and learn from his mistakes.

Thats the exact same thing happened to me 4 weeks ago! I am ashamed to myself. Should made the move to that girl!. She tried twice on me! But thanks to my complete AFC behaviour :cuss:

Details here;
http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=221598

Now she hates me and still trying to grab my attention with cold hi's and encounters to feed her ego. I am on total NC with her.

Took the red pill 3 weeks ago (finally) and now exploring the life from a complete different POV. Yeah it takes time (long usually in my case) to understand and how to start and act to play the game and improve yourself!

My advice, your roommate should realize his situation and discover it by himself. He doesnt got it no matter how hard you try or help to him. He just needs to accept the situation and got himself punched really hard from a stomach!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
