"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I work out extremely hard 4 days a week. I'm 5' 7", and in April I weighed 149 lbs, but now I'm at 171 lbs. I want to keep gaining, but I'm stuck around the 170 mark. I tried switching up my workout to do some muscle confusion and maybe cause some growth, but it's not working.

Any suggestions? I'm eating like crazy, and it's to the point that I'm getting tired of eating all the time. lol

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

hardly eating like crazy. that's a fairly low calorie diet for someone wanting to gain - hence why you're stuck at 170.

you are 170lbs so if you want to grow and are not growing you should be trying to get in at least 350g protein a day. are you doing this? you say '1 meat' - how much meat is that for instance?

where are the carbs? the fats? if you're trying to gain weight you should be eating more carbs than you are now. add some carbs to your pwo shake.

boost the protein to 350g and add in some more carbs or fats to your daily diet, and reassess after 4 weeks.

I'm not looking to gain fat. I'm looking to gain muscle. Will carbs help with that?

in the correct amounts for your metabolism and if they're of the correct type, they will help a lot, yes. muscle growth will always be optimal with carbs in the diet in the correct amounts. you can get GREAT gains without them but at a much slower pace and daily calories generally have to be higher (and you still have to have carb refeeds). of course, the lower your carb the less fat you'll likely gain but if you want to grow past the initial 20lbs you've gained (which is great progress btw) you will have to accept a little fat gain either way.

increase your protein to 350g and slowly add carbs to your diet in small amounts, until you are gaining again (but not getting fat).

If you hit a plateau muscle confusion ONLY sometimes might not work by itself. My man you cant only gain muscle 100 percent of the time. Dont be afraid of a little fat. Im doing a dirty bulk right now, im eating around 200 grams of protein and alot of fat, as much food as i can stuff in my mouth.

But in a few months the extra 50lbs im looking to put will be all muscle and hardly any fat. Try it out.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I switched up my workout for the past month, and it helped me increase strength for sure, and I gained about 5 pounds. I guess it just takes time. Maybe you should look into this.
