"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I have this cousin in Toronto and she has been goin out with this guy for the past year and a half. We'll call her S and her boyfriend M Now M is as AFC as u can get. How they met? He had a huge crush on S and would keep starting at her when they met(met thru common friends) but was too shy to make a move. He then asked her out a few times but she said no. After numerous rejections, he poured out his heart by telling her that he has a huge crush on her and all. She finally gives in and on the first date he took her to an expensive restaurant where he spent over 60 dollars. He continues to take her out to fancy places and all and their relationship begins. Ive seen this guy and he is as AFC as u can get. I stayed in Toronto for 10 days and he came over every single day, yes thats right every day. Almost everytime he came, he would buy her and me slurpees. While I appreciated the kind gestures, in the back of my mind I was thinking "you are going a little too overboard man". For her birthday(they were only together for barely a year at the time), he bought her some expensive jewelry. He calls her all the time and always wants to see her and always pours out his feelings to her. Her older sister Z says that S has him wrapped around her finger and that she pretty much orders M around. Z also told me and my family that M is like S's puppy and that she has got him on a leash. Also M is dying to marry S but S is getting cold feet and is a little scared of jumping in to marraige too soon. She wants to wait some more time. M will do anything to please S and will do anything to marry her whether it be buying expensive jewelry, buying her gifts, doing all her housework, and even going to India to do the wedding(me and S grandma, uncle, and aunty and a few of her other relatives live there). In addition he is willing to completely adapt to her parents culture and give up all of his(He is South American), which is not right of him to do. My parents think she is understandbly getting cold feet cause going into a marraige means giving up independence. I think opposite. I did not tell my family this but deep inside, the reason S is scared is because M is pressuring her and basically being worse than an AFC. Based on what im tellin u guys, do you think they will get married? I think within the next six months she will break up due to boredom. I think S is with M just because I guess her parents are pressuing her to get married soon(She is 25) but deep inside, I don't think she really loves him.

I think you'd have just as much luck, if not better, by asking a Magic-8 ball instead of expecting that people here will know the answer based off of your perceptions and and extrapolations of the inner workings of other people's minds. :p

You right man but the moral of this story is why some women go with guys they can dominate and order around. Ive spent lots of time in my life with her and her sisters that it was a factor on why I became an AFC/was a wuss. Now that im improving myself, those same cousins of mine hardly talk to me anymore. You could say they are upset at me for not allowing myself to be wussified anymore.

Haha, i just went through the same sort of deal. I met this girl who i went to college with and we started dating. But she had this BF right, who was AFC to tha max, more than this guy M.

Example: Everyday he would either phone her or send her an email, that just said i love you. Nothing wrong with loving someone, but everyday! At a party about a month prior to when we started going out, he stood up and announced to all her friends and peers at school in her department that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, without telling her first! They never went out, they rarely got together, and when they did it was just because she wanted to have sex.

Now, then i come along, with all this knowledge bc i know her best friend, and i was like: this should be no problem. So we went out on two dates, and got quite serious, she wanted it, and a week later she broke up with him. Later she told me that he cried for like three hours to her face, and how guilty she felt. So basically, she went back to him, but now she wont talk to me because she's still attracted! These girls, eh...

Now, i dont think girls purposely choose to find a guy they can control, but when a guy gives it up so easy it's just a lot more appealing. The thought of stability i think is what does it, girls like corny sh!t like all that, minimal effort is attractive to them, they all lazy!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

WOMEN WANT MARRIAGE MEN WANT SEX!
If you have to beg a woman to marry you something isnt right. Women become the envy of their circle when they are getting married. There are even books on how to trap a man to marry you. They might get married but rest assured if it hasnt happened already their will be some infidility in that marriage.

hey johnny, I truly know what you are talking about when it comes to women and being guilty for breaking up. It was like that with my mom and dad. When they first met she told me, my dad would call her all the time, always want to see her. He'd always call to check and see where she was going, a.k.a. trying to control her. Whenever she'd go with friends, he'd get so mad and would start pouting. She'd feel guilty and let him tag along. A couple months before they got married, she thought bout leavin him because of his temper/anger problems and told him about it. He kept beggin her to stay and that he'd promise to change. She felt guilty cause she was afraid if she left him, dad might not get a green card and he'd be forced to go back to India(both my parents are from India).. Its good that she gave in at the time or I wouldn't have been born couple years later. However after I was born things took a turn for the worse. Fights would be frequent, he cussed her out and stilll does everyday. When I was two,she thought of divorcing him but didn't out of guilt and for my sake. Lookin back, I think they shouldve divorced cause seein my parents hurt each other negatively affected me growin up. Pops used to cuss me out over every little thing and moms used to wussify the hell out of me and made me into an AFC. She kept saying, you better treat your wife nicely, you better buy her jewelery and things, you better do what ever she tells u and obey her, etc. In addition, she said do not touch a woman(as in kino) cause if you do she'll slap you. Only now im startin to realize my problems and improve but ive seen that when a woman stays with a man out of guilt, she only resents him.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Royal, now I hope there is no infedility on either side, that would really upset me. But this guy M keeps pushing marraige onto her but S keeps saying lets wait. My mom asked her sister Z about the relationship between M and S. Z said that S has gotten M on a leash so that if anyone was to end the relationship, it would be S. Z also said that M is head over heels in love with S. When I was in TO last time, M would always cling on to S, call her everyday and talk for hours with her. In addition, M would always tell S, "I Love You" and all. I used to be like M and it only got me a one way ticket to dumpville, so the only reason I guess she is still with him is because she is 25, and her parents and all her relatives really want her to get married soon.
