Like youve seen in the past, I have solid text game when it comes to setting up dates but when it comes to conversation flow via text I just dont have it.
Before anyone says you shouldnt be conversing by text, I know. Im in a situation (again) where phone calls cant be made and Im far away from HB8. The only solution is facebook text. I can flirt, joke and be witty but when it comes to actually conversing, Im noticing a pattern where Im only asking 'What have you got planned today' or 'How was work'. Obviously asking open ended questions. But how long before these become dull? Seriously.
HB8 loves talking about her day at work and what she has planned for the day so I capitalized on that, but as of late Im noticing less interest in her replies. I salvage by using innuendos and teasing but one can only do that so much before the fire goes out.
Im drawing blanks as to what can be actually said through text, everyone knows messages can be misinterpreted causing serious problems. What are some basic surefire ways to open up a conversation?
