"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I replied with "Next time you'll meet me we'll have more fun than you ever had with your boyfriend"

What did you reply and what worked?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

That sounds like a rejection, so probably nothing.

One time I said something similar to a girl with a boyfriend, though. She was showing all the interest signals, and what not. So, I said "wouldn't your BF mind if he was here?", and she said "we're just talking... it's not like we're talking about my crotch"... I said "so, what about your crotch?", and she said "blah blah you probably do this to all girls" - as if to imply I'm the player / wh0re. Then the sex talk escalated... mostly from her. She was a huge wh0re, but incredibly hot. Was definitely down for a **** session - despite having a BF - but my morals got in the way.

But IME, most girls don't really care if they have a BF - so long as they like you / find you attractive / want sex. They might mention him to rid their guilt and justify being wh0res, but it won't be used in a rejective manner. More like blaming him for her wanting to cheat... They usually go right back to them as if nothing happened. Damn wh0res.

How did you get her number then?

Sounds like a serious DB.

I got my first bartenders number a month ago. When i asked her for her number she said she was married. I persisted that we could hang out and get lunch as friends, and she said her husband wouldn't like that. I told her it was up to her, but i'd like to get to know her better.

She was interested and kept asking me for a facebook which i told her i didn't have, then she asked me for email.

I gave her my phone and opened her the contact page for her to save her details and just waited. She put in her number and email and told me to "Email me okay. Just email."

before that she also kept saying how her husband is the jealous type.

Why would you mess with a woman who has a BF or is married?

Are you that desperate for poon when there are so many single women available?

Pathetic.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you apologize now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will ...

I spent a good 2 hours talking to that married bartender. She never once mentioned a husband or boyfriend. She did mention her kid, but so many women have kids nowadays, you would never assume they're married. Especially a bartender. Peer pressure hit when my coworkers started commenting seeing how i hit it off with the bartender so i went to close her before i left. I found out in the last 2 minutes that she was married, she showed me a ring but i definitely was still going to try to get her number before i left at that point. I spent 2 hours talking to her and have a crowd of people behind me.

I pulled it off.

5string, you sound pretty insecure and pathetic. This is life and relationships and marriages fail on a daily basis. Especially here in America where women feel entitled to everything (have their cake and eat it too). You preach all this stuff about how your marriage is successful but in your last post you reek of insecurity. sh1t happens, be secure enough to know it's not going to happen to you or find someone else that you do feel secure with and trust.

If i get married, am i expecting that no one try and talk to my wife, grab her phone number, flirt with her and try to ruin my marriage, etc? Heck no. I expect that to happen all the time. If i plan to get married, i'd expect my frame to be the opposite of yours. Secure, confident, and realistic.

People cheat, relationships fall apart, and if you fail to see that you're in for a rude awakening.

anyways, even though i grabbed the married girls number, it just didn't feel right talking to her when she had a kid/family. Plus i don't feel like dealing with any of the baggage/drama with being married since i can talk to a single girl instead. when you grow up thinking girls are the greatest thing on earth and see this type of behavior, branch swinging, and everything you'd consider inappropriate, you realize that women are only human like the rest of us and make mistakes.

I'm with 5string here actually. Just because cheating happens doesn't mean you have to help it happen. Good on you for showing some morals! Why fvck with someone else's relationship when, as he said, there are plenty of single women everywhere?

Of course if a dj gets hitched, presumably the woman is going to be of high quality and get approached a lot, and the dj has to be ready for that. But does that mean he should be trying to make and take opportunities with attached women? Each to his own, but for me, no. Maybe if you're just communicating with her for a bit of practise it's fine....

On topic, in this situation my actual reply would be slight dig and then total disinterest (as she's attached), something like "it's OK, if he asks nicely he can watch!" or "is it really fun dating someone that insecure?" but this would just be a parting handshake rather than a way to get her more interested.

Never understood this viewpoint. Just doesn't make sense. If I were in a relationship/marriage and found out some guy I didn't know was f-ing my wife, SHE's the one I'd hate, not HIM. Why the FWCK would I have anything against the guy?! He doesn't even know me he doesn't have any obligation to me

It does not matter who's right or wrong. The point is that why pursue or be pursued by someone who is married or has a bf/gf when there are single folks out there?

And should you wish to come a lookin' for me, I'm around. Just bring someone along who's smart enough to read a fvckin roadmap rosebud. :flowers:

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You have been one of my favorites on here, but to call me insecure and pathetic is pretty lame. You want to hit on taken women, that's your business and none of mine. I just don't believe it's appropriate behavior. Very simple. We disagree. And don't lecture me about life.

So you can dish it out harsh criticism but can't take it? Maybe you shouldn't be posting here then.

Everyone is here to learn or involved in the learning process, dealing with resistance/LMR is very common. Your opinion of gaming married/taken women is YOUR opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of men out there that both agree and disagree with that. It's our choice to talk to whoever we want and the females choice if they're taken, to cheat or not.

Ultimately, i'm out to take care of myself. I've made out with girls with boyfriends and girls with boyfriends have tried to sleep with me as well. I have never physically messed with a married chick. I'm not out there wondering if this girl or that girl is married or has a boyfriend. I'm out there to gauge interest and capitalize on it if i want to.

If you're going to dish out harsh comments, be prepared for the same in return.

I suspect some guys get off on being able to get of with attached women, a bit like a dog pi$$ing on another dogs tree, its a bit of a power kick. Ive done it, got mixed feelings about it.
its not something Id pursue but doing it...you do learn a lot about about womens lack of loyalty

Especially since they're the ones who initiate and pursue - then lie, justify, and blame after the fact. It's like they simply don't care.... except for the reprocussions afterwards. No accountability, no punishment. Damn all that noise. :box:

This X1000. I was just thinking about this earlier. I wouldn't even get mad at the guy, because if I was in his situation I'd probably do the same thing. I'd just swallow the urge to hit her, dump her, and move on. But I'm never getting married anyway, so I won't have to worry about this type of stuff...

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'll handle anything you can toss my way, harsh or not. You're right, it's my opinion and we simply disagree. Can you not understand that?

My point is only that why mess with taken women when you have so many to choose from who are single?

When you shop for a car, would you rather steal it off the lot or buy it outright?

In what tone of voice did you say that? A little bit desperate? Annoyed? Calm? Confident? Be honest here.

before that she also kept saying how her husband is the jealous type
Basically I see two reasons she says that: 1. She is afraid of him, which makes her horny. 2. She pictures you being beaten up and her motherly instinct makes her try to avoid you getting hurt.

Are you skinny so she presumes you would lose in a fight against him? Or is your voice pitched high? I usually try to make her understand that I am going to be a threat to him(and her should she sic him on me).

um...i was pretty buzzed so i don't really remember the exact state but probably a mixture of persistent, confident & calm and indifferent. I was trying to leave and didn't want to wait too long so i made it clear it was her choice and her loss potentially. I couldn't care less if i didn't get her number.

I'm not a small guy, but not super tall. 5'11, 180lbs, muscular frame, broad shoulders and large chest. I consider myself decently attractive. I don't have a high or low pitched voice.

Her husband could have easily been bigger than me since she was fairly tall herself but that being said, i'm pretty sure most woman would want to prevent a fight stemming from their infidelity.

Oh geez. You got from the movie "Taken" starring Liam Neeson

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uEy8SrqitU ... 20 seconds point...

Pathetic.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
