I was just wondering if anybody on this board knows the band Jefferson Airplane? And if they know anything about Jefferson Airplane the question is.... Did Grace Slick have a one night stand with Jim Morrison???

All I know is that Jefferson Airplane had three band names, and was successful with each one.

The only names I know of is Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship, what was the third? I know that Grace Slick worked with a band called The Great Society, but that was before she actually joined the airplane.

They dropped "Jefferson" from the "Starship". Hence, Starship. Hits under this name were "We Built This City" and "Sara"

*Edit: I checked Wikipedia and they're under a new name now... "Jefferson Starship The Next Generation"
