I've recently been saving money to make my trip to Turkey, that's a dream of mine. Honestly, I've been having trouble when it comes to choosing a good card to put my Dollars and Turkish Liras in, preferably without abusive taxes.

I have a debit card (i.e., linked to a checking account) with TD Ameritrade (where I play the market  ) that charges no foreign-use fee or even ATM fee, with the currency being accessed is the local one. I also have a CapitalOne Quicksilver credit card that also doesn't charge a foreign fee, and I use this to buy stuff (I could also use the aforementioned debit card). Every other card I have charges a foreign fee.:mad:
