"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

alright, well I'm a junior right now, and i go to school in a small city in massachusetts where i live with my pops. well i'm moving in with the mom in florida. where i live now, everyone is white, there is one black person in my school, literally. i'm not racist or anything at all, i'm friends with some black people, but where i'm moving... its a working town with a lot of drug problems and different races, mostly black people. the life style is completely different. tbh i'm gonna feel kind of intimidated cuz the crime rate is way higher, not to mention i drive a nice car which im sure most kids dont even have at my new school. i mean im not a pu$$y but i don't wanna get fvcking stabbed by these kids, considering nothing like that ever happens in my town....how should i walk into this new school?
thanks

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

be friends with every single person you meet. and invite ppl to do things since ur so ****ing rich u can afford taking everybody out to eat and ****. ul be the cool rich dude. not the stuck up rich dude. try to get a good good reputation at that school. just have fun with everybody. i used to live in florida. im hispanic though so it was easy for me to make alot of friends. there were some white ppl. but where i lived orlando, kissimee (i think thats how u spell it) there were alot of puerto ricans. and im dominican. so..yeaa..all in all..make alot of friends. and wtf ur mad stereotypical. u wont get stabbed or jacked. so chill the **** out. if u act like something is going to happen to you. THEN SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU. be cool. make friends. and tlak to girls. and dont show off. showing off is bad, and will damage ur reputation.

Wreck the baddest guy at the high school off the start. It works in the movies. But honestly, be yourself, talk to everyone, be a friend to every group. When you finally find the right group, latch on and go at it.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
