I had a movie binge the other day watching several sexually-themed movies on Netflix, and I thought I would share my thoughts on them. I would recommend watching them if you hadn't already. I will spare you the synopsis, and just talk about what morale (if any) that I think worthy to be mentioned and discussed.

---- SPOILER ALERT ----

The Painted Veil (2006)

The love affair between the leading wife and the Mr. Townsend was naturally something that got my interest. A typical bored married wife found her 'love' with another man Mr. Townsend, who was already married himself. When the doctor (the wife's husband) found out, he put her into a situation that either she walked out, divorced and shamed, or she followed him to their death into a cholera-ridden village in rural China.

You see the doctor was doing a very noble thing. He volunteered to cure a cholera outbreak in a remote village where it had claimed dozens if not hundreds of lives. He spent countless days and nights to figure out how to contain the outbreak while dealing with local superstitions, customs, and warlords. And, he was doing all these without any support from his own wife (until way later).

I'm going to spare the rest of the story as it's a typical 'woman learned her ways' type of development.
However, one quote from the wife that was quite memorable to me "Could a woman love a man for his virtue?", and I think we all know that the answer to that question is a No.

Next time you sit there and thinking if your noble cause and effort could win the heart of a woman or women, the answer is no. Don't get me wrong, you should still follow your heart if that's your calling, but don't expect women to swoon over you over that Noble Peace prize.

Y Tu Mama Tambien (2001)

I heard this movie a while back when it was released but never really watched it until now. What got my interest here is the sexual nature of women. You can see the typical games that women play on this movie like what was being preached here on SS. The girlfriends of the boys were going to Italy for their own sexual adventure. It wasn't mentioned/showed in the movie that the girls were opening their legs half the word away, but it was implied. Luckily the boys weren't the AFC type that stuck to their promises, and had their own adventure instead.

So, the boys went on a roadtrip with a milfy woman who was divorcing her husband, and you could clearly see the power of ***** over these two young boys. It twisted their bromance relationship inside out, creating divisions and confusion.

Nymphomaniac (2013)

This controversial drama that takes women sexual nature to a whole another extreme. If Y Tu Mama Tambien hadn't taught you much, this clearly would. A story of two nymphomaniacs on their sexual conquests to screw as many men as possible, and wrecking families and lives along the way. If you want to see or get reminded of what AFC is like, this is it.

The movie also cleverly linked similarities between music and fishing to sex. They would find angles (pun intended) in a person pysche, and how to find their vulnerability. The pickup lines that these women use to lure men out of their devoted married life were twisted, and how far men (in the movie) were willing to go just for that one ***** is just down right depressing. The Mrs. H scene was especially quite powerful. Uma Thurman did a very good job.

I would recommend watching this not just for the gratuitous views of pussies, fcks, and *******s, but to see what a woman could do to men, and what a woman is capable of if she were purely driven by sex. I know in reality very few women were nymphomaniacs, but the tactics used by the nympho was clear and very close to reality. Things they would say just to get your devotion, only to twist it back out of your gut once you proclaimed your love to them.

TBH, I had no idea how they wrote and directed this movie. The movie was well made. And I don't know why it is controversial. Is it because it sheds light to women real sexuality and therefore exposing their true darkest core?

^I watched about 30 mins of this movie but shut it off, it was too dark for me. I can see why it was controversial though---those scenes were straight up pornographic. Weird to think how they filmed and acted all that out.

My favorite wife cheating movie was one with Richard Gere as the beta husband.

SPOILER ALERT

His wife was out and met some french dude who fvcked her silly. Then later Gere met french guy for some reason, and found out that his wife had given the french dude this snow globe, that gere had given her earlier. Gere found out about it and killed the guy with it, and then didn't get arrested. Happily ever after. Unfaithful.

/SPOILER

Another decent "wife cheating" movie (on Netflix) with a pretty interesting twist is Chloe.
