"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

"Chasing Mavericks" brought me to my knees, so to speak. At his young age, Jay Moriarty lived his life the way we should all aspire to. Come to think of it, a movie was never made about Eddie Aikau, but the same goes. Maybe more. The man saved hundreds of lives as a lifeguard. The ending of Requiem For A Dream. Don't want to spoil too much, but my god...I saw this in the theater and I was such a mess that I had to wait until the credits ended before I walked out. Didn't want my girl at the time to see how sensitive I was.

A video "movie" of a SS mass summit would be enough to bring anyone to tears.
