"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

most women never initiate. Is this a cultural thing?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

the way women only initiate is through eye contact and smilling thats as far as it goes or putting themselves so close to you making it obvious.

I agree. Women are so subtle that often they think that they are initiating with just eye contact and smiling. Many men don't realize when they're being "approached."

For example, a girl at school who likes me and wanted to go to a school dance asks two guys near me (one married, one obese) if they are going to the dance, then she turns to me and asks if I'm going. She's trying to play it off like she is taking some sort of survey, but this is really ******** for "I want to go to the dance with you." In a woman's mind, this scenario would qualify as an "approach" but most men would not even notice what was really happening.

Yes, it's cultural. Everything is cultural/societal.

Indians like arranged marriages where everything is cut dried and paid for before the couple even meet. And they don't mess around beforehand either.

It isn't so much that older women are more desperate, that's a bit daft. Older women have a clue about reality and their interests, so they pursue it. They fend for themselves in the meat market. Younger women don't understand the nature of their position, and mostly they don't need to; i'm afraid if you hadn't noticed, most young women are quite vacuous and life philosophy is not their strong point. In other words, unsurprisingly, it takes age to make a genuinely mature woman.

Of course this is well and good for pick up artists, who if they are worth their salt, should find a strong woman intoxicating - rather than as some suggest, feeling intimidated. The fact of the matter is, the majority of older women who are on the prowl are damaged goods, and beyond occasional enjoyable liasons should become involved with at your severe peril.

Good women tend to be married off beforehand. Cliche but true. If they're older and on the singles scene, they're either screwed up and no good to anyone, repressed widowers, adulterers or incable of holding down a relationship. Or horror of horrors, looking for a husband. None of which bothers you or slows you down, right. Right?
