"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

reset, i wasn't trying to diss you or imply that i have better musical knowledge (we can still go head to head to find out though:up: ). from your post I just got the impression that you liked that kind of boy band garbage... it was just a misunderstanding

I agree with your last post 100% since that is also the way i feel about music nowadays. I listen to a lot of the same old stuff i ve been listening to for years, however i also stopped associating with the lyrics and the looser/loner mentality that some of these songs promote

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

No. But if you think about it, maybe it's because I'm older than you, the lyrical content of stuff like Backstreet, it's always been around, even though musical styles have changed. Crappy mainstream music or good underground music, the AFC has a home everywhere. They are basically the same song. Probably since at least the early 60s.

Actually this is where people who have more refined tastes benefit, because they can hear songs that aren't necessarily about women, but about other things. But top40, it's all love songs.

murs - the pain

what a real chumpy song, i'm talking about the DEFINITION of an afc
good cut though

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I think I've got #1

Hope, from Descendents
Really great band, with some extremely afc lyrics
(this is where Offspring got the idea for Self Esteem, and Face to Face stole a song from this one too)

why can't you see you torture me
you're already thinking about someone else
when he comes home you'll be in your arms and i'll be gone
but i know my day will come
i know someday i'll be the only one
so now you wait for his spark you know it'll turn you on
he's gonna make you feel the way you want to feel
when he starts to lie when he makes you cry
you know i'll be there my day will come
i know someday i'll be the only one
call me selfish call me what you like i think it's right
to want someone for all your own and not to share her love
and i'll have my way and won't have to say anyway
i've got you you didn't stand a chance
you want perfection i see your self destruction
you don't know what you want it's gonna take you years to find out
i'm not giving up and when you've had enough
you'll take your bruised little head and you'll come running back to me
you know that i'm gonna be the only one

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Just a few

Black - Pearl Jam
Down in a Hole - Alice in Chains
Everlong - Foo Fighters
Angel Eyes - Jerry Cantrell
Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
Outshined - Soundgarden

Is there any music worth listening to? I used to love these bands.

EDGUY...is he most DJ music ever. Metal, and about being "the Catch of the Century" and "Fvcking with Fire" "lavatory love machine". The singer is a ****y smart funny little dude, who is DJ to the bone. :) One of the best metal acts to come out of germany!

SOMETHING CORPORATE: can't believe no ones mentioned them. I listened to both their cds a lot back in my afc days, and although they are musically talented esp. w/ mixing piano in w/ guitar, the whiny lead singer and "high school reject" song themes are pathetic when I hear them now.

3 6 Mafia is not AFC...***** got ya hooked is about how they are not sprung.
A lyric from another song," See ho I don't dance, in the city where I'm from I wear the pants/These bit ches think they cool, I got the d i ck so I make the rules!"
Another chorus-
Don't save her, she don't wanna be saved don't save her, she don't wanna be saved... (ain't nothin goin on but the money and the power)

The poster who mentioned 3 6 def. has not heard very many of their songs, one of my favorite rap groups and I can't stand most rap esp. whats on the radio these days.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

"Fur Elise" (you know, the piano piece that everyone can play the first few bars to) was written cause Beethoven was deeply in love with a 14 year old piano student of his for a time.

Is the sublime song with the same lyrics a cover or did they come up with it first?

Not sure if this was posted yet, this is by far the most AFC and emo song I've ever heard, I was karaoking to Rock Band songs and never sang this song before, I quit after half way through, it was so frikkin depressing.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
