I keep telling men to live by their own rules and values.

Submission is beta. Whether its submission to a woman, submission to your social circle, submission to your family or submission to society. Its always beta and its never sexy.

The most interesting thing here is the article says men are also attracted more to women who don't conform. I imagine the reason is there is nothing unique or special about a cookie cutter woman. You would just sport f*ck her and move on out of boredom.

On a side note.. I think this explains Donald Trump and why he might be the next U.S. President. Voters like this nonconformist attitude and see him as strong because of it.

I can't stand cookie cutter girls. I'm not. One to fit in myself, so I like my women just the same.

I am sick of girls wearing the same ****. Uggs, yoga pants, t-shirt etc, be unique for ****s sake.

Nothing is more of a turn off than a girl who isn't unique, even if it's small and in her own way.


Something is just more appealing about a girl like that.

I'd rather invest my time and energy romancing a conformist-chick with a nice rack, long legs, and slim body, versus a rebellious average-bodied chick.

In my mind there's nothing more obnoxious than a woman who fancies herself as "assertive" or "independent" or "funny." Who cares?? Such attributes are usually highlighted by women who lack confidence or looks. Just hearing a chick use f-bombs in public makes me want to slap the shiat out of them. Nothing more annoying than that. And the last thing I want is to spend my evening with some chick who thinks she's Lucille Ball or Whoopi Goldberg.

Totally agree. Those girls always try too hard to get attention and 'assert' themselves and it's beyond annoying. Even overly domineering men are annoying. But the chicks are even worse. Their minds can't fathom why you don't wanna show the princess any attention so they'll parade around like a dumba55 or hook up with guys in front of u all trying to get your attention while it makes your view of them even lower.

As for men though, yes. Men should ALWAYS follow their own muse. Never do anything because you want approval or validation. Do whatever the fvck you want. Within reason that is lol.

Where I'm from it's easy for an intelligent man to do that. Most people in my area.. Not just women, but men too. I'd say a good 80-90% are either stupid, scummy, narcissistic or a simp or some mix of all 4 or a varied mix of the 4 mentioned traits. I have no desire to connect with them let alone try to impress them. This isn't exactly a great way of looking at things for a noobie, but after being through sh1t and life and seeing people for what they are. You really don't even want their company let alone their approval lol. Do this for yourself. For your own health and benefit, and watch how fast the women come flocking cuz they're attracted to strength.

Going with your gut and following your own sense of masculinity and right or wrong in a society where most people are dumba55 sheep who want likes on Instagram or approval shows a strength these simpletons aren't even capable of thinking of in their mind. Their idea of strength is being loud obnoxious douchey and tan or something along those lines. They will love/hate you for your mentality that goes against what they're use to. Mostly hate, because you make them look bad and are taking their women. But that doesn't matter. Because you're doing what's right for you.

Not to start a political debate, but this actually is true. He is not politcally correct at all and because of this people see that he doesn't care. More of a leader than any other person who ran for president in the past 20 years (but his race comments lost him a lot of votes though).

The most amusing facial expression on a woman is the one when you shoot them down, ever so cold. You know the type... Arrogant, wears lots of make up, complains a lot, and isnt too in shape, at best average looking. They demand something from you. And most guys, seeking validation from women, will meet those demands. But you? No, not you soldier!

Congratulations son, you passed test number one! Now, you've made it past the first round, with only 80% of male suitors left now.

If you can follow my odd flow there, you'll see the point I'm making. Stand up for yourself. Instead of seeking external validation, validate yourself internally so that you develop a sense of one hundred percent confidence. This is easier said then done. I'm not even sure if 100% confidence exists. I think you can get hella close, but there's always that little voice back there somewhere. Know yourself and start to develop your core values, so that you can become a strong and independent man (ha).

What's missing is the clear definition of "conformist" and "non-conformist" and I'll bet those definitions are very different between the sexes even if on the surface they come to a consensus of definition.

That, in my opinion, is the reason for the "unexpected" results when it comes to women and conformity.

His attitude got him through the Republican Primary, for sure. Non-conformist attitude works among those who are pre-conditioned to value strength over reason. Unfortunately, voters shop in different ways; he is received differently among other groups. He loses handily among women, blacks, Latinos, Asians, Jews, gays, and white men who don't value authoritarianism. Now the media is taking a bite out of him as well. Strength is nothing without substance.
