"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Okay this hit me like a Mac truck tonight.

I've always known that I have an unusually shaped nose. It's not deformed or "wrong", it's just unusual. It's a nose that has a very prominent bump.

Sort of like this, the first nose in this picture, the kid with the freckles, except its proportionally larger than his:
http://www.rhinoplasty-dallas.com/Highdorsum.html

She was just telling me about how my sister wants to get hers done, and said something like "I suppose you want to get yours done as well?"

Now I've always been slightly self-conscious about it, and sometimes thought it was embarrassing, but it really doesn't bother me and I've had plently(pleeenty) of success with the ladies, so I suppose sub-consciously I came to grips with the fact that it wasn't a bad thing to have a nose like that, and that it was simply "different".

With that being said, it couldn't hurt to straighten it out, could it? I mean, I'm not one of those guys who thinks like "Hey man, this nose is my identity, its MY NOSE, so fvck off I'm keeping it because it's ME."

I'm pretty chill about stuff like that and I figure if it makes me just that much less self-conscious, then heck, I don't mind.

-------

Would you consider rhinoplasty if you had an oddly shaped nose?

-------

I need awhile to think about it obviously, I just thought some opinions would be cool.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

See that's the thing...

I already have a great body. I'm in the gym 5 days a week, and run over 3 miles a day, and have been for awhile. I play sports when it isn't minus 500C outside(you're canadian, you know what I'm talking aboot).

Essentially I have all other aspects of my looks being managed(muscles, hair, clothes, style, etc), the only thing I'm self-conscious about lookswise now is my nose, and I've worked hard to get there.

I'm not saying im a genetic fvck-up, far from it, it's hereditary and my whole family except my mom has it.

I'm sure I'll be more than fine without cosmetic surgery, but denying that I look unusual to some people is just being niave. I've been made fun of in my past about it, but that stopped when I started standing up for myself more and not allowing myself to be walked on, but that doesn't mean there isn't something in the back of people's minds' when they talk to me. Picture a fat kid...His mom idly suggesting he lose weight would hit him like a tonne of bricks. And for him to deny that people judge him based on looks is also being niave. Therefore by dropping his pride and ego, he would stop telling himself that he is "fine just the way he is", and he'd get his fat load into a gym.

Mabye it's part of my self-improvement nature, but if I see something that could be made better about myself, my pride and ego go out the window.

Right now I'm thinking sure, I mean, why not? At the same time I'm thinking, is it worth the risk?

I really don't feel it's worth it bud. I remember when I was in high school not so long ago I used to be so self-conscious of things like this. Now it seems my mindset is the complete opposite (probably due to sosuave).

Using the example you gave above, if you were fat kid, you could naturally improve by exercising and diet. That is okay. But there is no natural fix for this nose thing.

I just don't see the point, especially when you state you have had a lot of success with girls. It Obviously doesn't bother them.

To tell you the truth, I'd be pretty pissed if my mom suggested I do something like that.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

As long as you don't look like that guy with the super huge nose in that Dominoes pizza commercial you're ok.

If your schnozz extends farther than the tip of your c0ck you have a big fvcking problem.

Ask your Mom if she needs a vagina-plasty. I hear it's cheap as hell in Bangkok

Get in a fight, let him break your nose and afterwards make him pay for a new one -)
But seriously, I have seen many otherwise pretty girls whose face was ruined by an ugly nose, but on men its more seen as "characteristic" rather than "ugly", especially if you are a jacked up guy, what would you do with a cute little girly nose? You already have good success, so don't get into this hollywood **** of getting an operation for everything that is not "perfect". Just imagine explaining to your gym pals why you had a "nose job" :trouble:

DO NOT!!!!!

My ex had this weird nose. She kept complaining about it.

I did not care. Everyone has flaws and I accepted that. Her nose was fine for me.

Someone told me that she did a nose job these days and it was horrible, like the harmony of her face was lost.

Embrace your flaws. What you can change, do it. What you can't, learn to love it. My ears are HORRIBLE, yet I do not give a damn. I used to, but hey, that's me. Fvck it!

if all that was said was what you posted , i think she merely wanted to know if you wanted one done because your sister is whining about it.

I have that nose with a modest hump. I never think about it—I thought about it once as a kid and never again—and it doesn't seem to cause any problems, which leads to if it ain't broke don't fix it. Even if the mother were to pay all expenses, the difference would be minimal; you would go walking around in life with the same attitude, no less self-conscious and for awhile probably more self-conscious, and in the end no one would notice. People who take the approach of fixing minor problems which are not problems, eventually turn into Michael Jackson.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

If it is something your are self-conscious about and bothers you, go and see a face specialist and they can do computer imagining of your face and show you what you would look like with a different nose. If you like what you see, get the nose job but expect to pay between 5-7k for a good surgeon/anesthesiology team.
