Is modesty worth having in terms of attempting to live the DJ way of life?

A year ago before this site came, i always valued modesty. after reading entries and practicing, i no longer posess that trait. today, my track coach honored like a few people and gave them sportsmanship awards for their modesty. she says modesty is a very good trait for a person to have(my coach is hb4-5 incase anyone is curious). the ppl who received it were pretty much shy. i'm not shy. im very confident and i'm starting to feel like a jackass for what i've become comparing myself to the me when i was a shy, depressed person. girls treat me different because now its always playful, games, kino, etc, etc.

So, i ask you fellow men, Does your traits possess any modesty?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'd say I have a very desiable personality for attracting PEOPLE (both men and women.)

Strangers and fresh aquantinces would consider me ****y. Once they've known me for a small amount of time they would consider me humble and modest.

The key is to be confident in your abilties. But never brag, try to impress, or try to oneup somebody. Be content in knowing only for yourself that you posses something (either tangable or intangable) better than others.

In fact, I even go so far as to make sure others get credit or atleast share credit for my accomplishments.

Or if someone shows pride in an accomplishment or item, yet you have better, then keep your mouth shut and genuinely reinforce their proud moment (even if it is trivial to you.)

On the relevance of women and being modest.
Trust me, a modest man stands a MUCH better chance with women.
Women can sense when you are trying to brag or showoff and will immediatley smell the BS.

On the otherhand, if you remain modest while giving a confident impression and let her DISCOVER your accomplishments and material possesions most men would brag about, then she will be truly amazed.

Modesty is a virtue. But don't confuse modesty with shyness or lacking confidence.

Never sacrafice modesty and good qualities for a piece of ass. Sure you might score some tail for the weekend by being a jackass, but we all know that the true hotties go for the guys who have it all.

I'm one of the richest guys at my school, but until people get to know me they think I'm poor(several have told me). Actions speak louder than words, remember that. Don't get it? I'll use a personal example.

I have a speedboat(not even kidding), but I never talk about it. In the summer, I'll just ask some people "Hey guys, wanna go water-skiing on the weekend" or something like that...If you have a nice house(again, not even kidding), don't just say "My house is bigger than yours" or some gay crap like that...Be like, "Hey guys, I'm having a party at my house this weekend, wanna come?" If you have a nice car(lol don't have one, but I do atleast have a car), drive it. Don't talk about it. Bragging isn't even being ****y, its being a flamming idiot. People respect and mabye even idolize the ****y guy, no one idolizes or even respects the flamming idiot.

Let people find out about you themselves through your actions.
