I'm looking to start training for MMA I will be sparring and using bags for the most part until I actually start fighting down the road possibly. I don't see much difference between training and fight gloves.

Go with fighting then or be better off by buying training gloves first?

I believe training gloves have more padding on them and fight gloves are the regulation thickness like the ones the pros use in UFC.

Get the training gloves first. No one is going to want to be your sparring partner if you keep injuring them.
