"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

hi im new to the forums,

there is this girl that im kind of interested in. she is in one of my classes (highschool). we have a lot of eye contacts going on and actually, catching her looking at me was the reason i noticed her in the first place. i started talking to her afterclass and i thought that all of our conversations went well, i dont really have any troubles talking to girls. last wednesday, i decided to tell her that "she should come along with me to lunch sometime", (we are allowed to go off campus for lunch), she didnt say no, nor did she say yes, she told me that she usually goes out with her friends usually, and somehow, the convo ended at me saying, "well, let me know". thursday (yesterday) i didnt even see her at the spot that we usually talk, (avoiding me?). today (friday) i asked her again "so, when are u going out to lunch with me?" and she gave me the excuse which i thought was bs "i have to study for our test today" (which we did have, but still...). pissed me off.

my question is, do i go after this chick or move on?

thank you

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

i think that instead of asking her to go out to lunch with you, just tell her that she is. Be the man and lead the way. Dont leave the decisions to her. Youre putting her on a pedestal and chasing after her.

that is one thing i dont want to happen, is to make it seem that i am chasing after her. its just at one point in time, i was 100% for sure that she had a thing for me, the way she was looking, staring at me in class. so i went for it, and now, i feel like im being rejected, so wtf..

yea i think i'll do that, but do i ask her that the next time i see her again? wouldnt that just seem too obsessive and kind of annoying? maybe i should jsut lay of that subject for now and talk to her more, maybe im thinkin too much.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Your offer sounded desprate(sp?):
Insted of :"want to come to eat with me?"
Use:"I am going to the benches, why woun't you accompany me?"
