"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Can you see all the couples around you? Have you really noticed their common partners?

At least in my experience, there's this woman and this man.
They've known each other since high school, and usually have turbulent relationships...
The things I've noticed they have in common are that they have at least 3 or 4 children, their wives are nymphomaniacs, and they have a lot of sex with their boyfriend/husband, yet, some, they cheated, but they stayed together, they forgave.
Usually the woman is a very "pain in the ass," alternating between moments of "wanting to have sex and be feminine" and moments of "I want to be in charge and I'll be a pain in the ass," etc.

I never understood what kind of couple model this was, but it's the most popular...

Furthermore, I've noticed that after 40/45, when women have fulfilled their role, having had children, raised them, taken them to soccer games, done everything that needed to be done, they begin to change their attitude toward their husbands and family and become more churlish and more sullen.
It's as if they resent each other.

Any woman in a relationship like that, look like a nymph for her HB.. infact I know many guys that keep their relationships just because she have those crazy moments of sex. But they're relationships are miserable really..

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

They've known each other since high school....
Several galaxies worth of problems can be prevented, by NOT settling for the first option that comes your way. Most people are dissatisfied with their marriages, careers, neighborhood they live in, etc etc, yet chose to never do more than gripe about that sh-t. Such passivity is, in one sense, understandable:

Achieving prosperity and liberty requires us to experience discomfort along the way, ergo most folks do everything in their power to NOT experience such things

How large is your sample size that you draw this conclusion from?

I notice the same dynamic: many of these relationships seem to move in cycles of ups and downs, almost like a constant "we're breaking up." Then something happens, a major event, the birth of a child, marriage, buying a house, a trip, that leads to reconciliation. And at that point they think, "We made it," feeling even stronger than before.
