"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I was looking online and just noticed this. I'm extremely annoyed. I grew up with my father being in the military. I looked up to him and he was my hero. I thought everything he did was absolutely incredible. Now, I'm 26 and my significant other is in the military. He is the love of my life. I look up to him and admire him just as much as I did my father. I'm not with him for benefits or the pay. I'm with him bc I love him and he's got every good quality a loving man could have. It's nice being with someone you can love and look up to. As far as cheating goes, that thought has never crossed my mind. To be honest, I have thoughts of him, a hoodie to hold, pictures to look at, a phone to hear his voice, and a vibrator when I'm lonely. Just saying

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You "just love him" because you have no clue how your internal wiring works. It has nothing to do with him being nice or any of that romantic 5hit. It's because he's doing something masculine, just like your father did. There's nothing sexier to a woman than a man who has the power to kill. The money is a side bonus. All of this combined pulls on your attraction strings, and he's climbed to the top of your dating high score list.

Cheating comes into play when the memory of a significant other in the military gets overrided by an alpha male in her immediate vicinity. A memory doesn't stand a chance against reality and once the kino starts, that picture sitting in the bedroom gets put into the night stand drawer.

Lol. Your funny. I don't care what people think. I know who I am and what we have. I don't need anyone's approval but his. Believe it or not, not all women are the same. But nice try on thinking you know me.

Oh I'm sure they do. He's amazing. The fact is, yes he's in the military but that doesn't make him who he is. It's a part of him yes but it's a job like everyone else. His uniform doesn't make him who he is. The military didn't pick out his eye color or favorite music. That's all him.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I don't really give a 5hit about who he is. My point is those other women want to fvck him for the same reasons you're attracted to him. Again, women are wired the same way which makes them attracted to the same things.

That being said, you'd better hope that all the women he encounters while he's away are fat, ugly bytches. Men are also wired the same way and are attracted to the same things such as pretty, sexy, feminine women.

My relationship is fine. My gf is very highly attracted to me. Thanks for asking.

I feel sorry for you and that you feel this way.
I haven't stated my feelings about anything. You're just having an emotional reaction, and I can't say I blame you. You miss your BF and don't want him to cheat on you.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Many men join the military out of necessity ($$$) and because they need to support a family and are trying to find a way out in order to provide a better life for their families.

Having said that, there are a lot of trailer trash and ghetto women married to our servicemen.

I for one believe that a man that fvcks the wife of a man serving in the War Zone should be punished by sending him to the War Zone too. That's how untouchable I view the wives of men serving in the War Zone.
That's stupid. You're acting as if the woman is some dumb log of wood who had no idea what she was doing and you're putting all the onus on the man.

That's very true. A woman that could actually do that to her man is definitely the most ****ed up person on the planet. It's not all the guys fault.

I'm in a paramilitary program right now, and I've met some upcoming soldiers and even current ones.

Labeling them as "bad boys" is laughable. In fact I've never heard them be labeled that title before. They're not "bad boys" they're good people.

I've posted a thread about attracting toxic women a few weeks ago and one of the replies said that women generally want what they do not have, opposites attract so to speak.

Bad girl wants a good guy because he's responsible, strong, stable, etc., and she's basically none of those.

I think it's really about selection and poor screening due to being naïve. Most of those upcoming soldiers, and even current, that I have met were virgins or had limited experience with women. It's a small percentage that a "bad boy" joins the military.

I find it very hard to believe that guys think I can't just love and admire my boyfriend bc of what he does. Regardless of what all guys think, not all women are bad.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I'm not doubting that at all. The truth is there's always an underlying subconscious reason why you're attracted to someone. Ever hear a woman say something like "I don't know why I like him, I just do." A big part of this forum is finding out those reasons and causing them to happen.

Regardless of what all guys think, not all women are bad.
That's quite the generalization. There are numerous things that can cause a woman to do "bad" or unexplainable, stupid things, and much of it is just part of their nature. Social influence amplifies those behaviours which is usually a bad thing. Once a person understands basically how a woman functions, the bad behaviours of women start to make sense. The problem is that women are generally encouraged by society to flaunt these bad behaviours and even be proud of them. Today's woman are part of the "I'm a bytch and I'm proud" movement. Here's a news flash... Men don't want a bytch.

Was on active duty for 12 years and in the reserves, called up periodically to Iraq and Afghanistan for another 16 (just retired this year).

Women are initially attracted to men in uniform, I don't know why but it's a fact. There is initial attraction, but you typically can not keep it... It's almost like she sees you are some sort of military clone, very replaceable with another military guy. Yes there are exceptions and I can tell you with absolute truth that some military wives and girlfriend are among the most loyal women I have ever in my life met. But that fact is they are a minority... MOST military spouses cheat on their husband when they are deployed at a rate too high to imagine. The divorce rate is unbelievably high, and ironically the divorce rate spikes right at the 10 year mark... which coincidentally is the point where a spouse gets half your retirement pay by law. She could be the ***** of Babylon, with none of your children actually yours, and she would get half your retirement. There are women who use military guys... it happens.

When I was deployed for the First Gulf War I learned the 'Dear John' letter was not a phenomena that only Americans endured. I was attached as a liaison to the French and the frequency at which these break up letters came to soldiers in that unit was such a problem over the months we were deployed that it became a real morale problem (the French had not had troops deployed for any length of time since the Vietnam in the mid 50s) they had not direct experience with this. Later I was assigned to a Royal Marine Unit in Northern Iraq... again the same thing, only the RMs had a interesting way of dealing with this problem. The Marine that was jumped would tape the picture of his former girl in the field privy and we would all p!ss on her.... I didn't notice any morale problems.

But hey... this is how women are, you really can't get mad at them any more than you can get mad at a thunderstorm, you have the take the good days with the bad and just understand that women are like weather. This is why I will ALWAYS say, LDRs never work.... period. Women just can not do this, while there are exceptions, women by and large MUST have physical contact with the man of their interest otherwise she starts to lose attraction. When solders deploy many women will start to wander... again they just can not help it any more than men can help the fact that we are always looking at women... Men, by our nature are always looking to have sex with a variety of women... women are always looking for their next best option. This is part of our nature, and yes we can overcome our base instincts, but never forget that it doesn't take much for us to revert to our nature.

I could never cheat on my boyfriend. I don't understand how any woman could do that much less a woman who has a man that is risking his life for our country. I completely understand there are those women. I know a few and i quit socializing with them bc I couldn't believe that they would do that. Not to mention, my father always said guilty by association. You are the company you keep. On the other hand, yes, I'm the girl that sleeps with his hoodie, waits for my phone to ring and when it does and it's him it completely makes my day. That first kiss you get when they get home, first touch, looking into their eyes, those moments make the time apart you 2 had not feel so ****ty anymore. You know what you were fighting for and **** it's so worth it!

I trust him. Nobody can break that even if they tried. But it's fine, I get it. Nobody believes in anything real anymore. And please do not call me babe

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
