Hey I've recently began to ask girls about metrosexual guys (which I think when I dress, I do take extra-care of myself unlike my other friends who put on a shirt and run). The girls that I've asked couldn't give me a straight answer, and thus I've began to ask girls with boyfriends who didn't really take care of themselves too well, why they decided to date them exclusively... Again, all I could get was half ass answers...


So now, I ask you donjuans, to hear your opinion about this... what do you think girls prefer, a metrosexual or the regular lenient ones????

I think both. They like guys who look good but don't have to try too hard doing it. The thing is attitude - if you're wearing something that makes you stand out - wear it with confidence or don't wear it at all.

Also, dress for the occasion. I like the grunge look while hanging out in bars but dress much sharper when I go to clubs. The ability to adapt well is the key.

You gotta look comfortable...

I've worked with a number of people in fashion so I always dress that notch above the rest... customised jeans and blazer jackets, all that...

Now, I went through a stage where lookin back, my **** was a little too orientated towards dressin up, it looked good, but it just wasn't right... now I've found that balance, I've got a couple of wardrobes and loads of cupboards and drawers stacked with clothes and accessories and I just mix and match and flip things round to really get somethin that looks fresh...

I hit the gym hard this past year or so, so my frame is that much better... great definition on my arms, chest and the rest, but not too 'gym monkey' ish... but that is what sways it, dress well, show that you got that style (and money too if you want) but you're lookin like a MAN, not a boy or whatever else...


After that ramblin on, you get to the conclusion that there is a wide range of tastes.. BUT from my experience and the crowd I mix within, girls are suckers for a well dressed man who's got a body to match it... if you're a guy who's ALL dress then you're gonna get passed over, or worse still, considered a gay boy

There is nothing gay about looking like a million bucks and taking care of yourself...The only thing thats gay are the people who try to cut you down for doing it...The reality is:

1. They are gay
2. They are jealous
3. They dont like you and are F^ing with u

Women love well dressed men...I mean put yourself in a beautiful woman's shoes...Would you want to be with a guy that that looks like a loser, and smells like one too??? Personally i think that women who have an issue with how you dress are uncomfortable with themselves for some reason that they are not acknowledging...Further I dress to impress cause i expect girls that are hot and have a sense of fashion...

Finally, lets look at this whole phenomena...I think that whats happening is that maybe the gays are trying to redefine what gay is...but anyway you cut it being gay has nothing to do with how you dress it all comes down to desiring the same sex over the opposite sex..So to hell with all this bull$hit, dress like a million bucks and bang the finer chicks you owe it to yourself

However, he says it how it is. Looking fresh and clean with good hygeine isnt a GAY trait. Yeah, that's why I made the 2nd post. You gotta actually read what Scottie is saying. He speaks to a much younger audience so he tailored his words to that medium. But if you look at his final paragraphs he floated back into normal speech.
