men vs women- who is better looking

Well, a post by Down Low, has intrigued me a lot and made me think of who is better looking, men or women. Do not confuse appreciation of good looks, with attraction, a straight guy might recognize that another dude is very good looking, but won´t feel attracted like he would to a woman.. He basically says that women are uglier, or at least good looking women are harder to find, and the more I think about my past and present, and about my observations I think he is right.

I thought of clubs and if you remove make up, most women are ugly dwarfs... it´s very hard to find attractive girls. I would say that there might exist more ugly men than ugly women, and that ugly men many of them are scary resulting in the "eww " factor. So that´s why one feels very confident when he sees a lot of ugly dudes (I´m the king of this sh*t feeling) but the problem is, I think, men are more to the extremes, so there are hell of a lot good looking guys at least compared to women, hence the hypergamy, and the fact that average looking girls demand very good looking guys, because there are lots of them on the chase.

I don´t want to turn this into another looks thread, but this literally pisses me off, when you are in highschool lots of girls with ugly or average faces are fvckable, because of their terribly sexy bodies, after 23 if you can get a 7 you are already a hero.

Summing this up, I think that there are more ugly men than ugly women, but there are also more good looking guys, hence the hard competition.

There are many more guys with a 6pack than girls with a killer ass, in fact even a girl with a decent ass is hard to find nowadays after 25.

I may say guys face much more competition so they have to put some work in their bodies, work which has to have permanente effects while girls can simply put some make up to score a couple of points higher.

Not every guys is serious at the gym but at least bothers to go 3 times a week, while girls most of the time join those 2days a week aerobic classes and usually skip one day.

If a guy sucks he is punished by not getting any, if a guy is average he is punished by not getting any....if a girl is not totally repulsive she is rewarded by being approached in a club.

If my friend sucks I tell him that he sucks and that he have to work to improve himself and that nothing is due to him except what he works for.

If a girl sucks her friends tell her that its guys fault, that she is ok and people have to accept her for what she is and she deserves only the best.

Exactly, it´s very hard to find a girl with a decent ass after 25, let alone killer ass... But also face wise (because about bodies there is really no argument going), there are more good looking guys... And then you hear women all the time complaining how much better looking they are... it´s just ridiculous.

modern men don't know HOW TO HELP EACH OTHER...men of earlier centuries did...amish, barn raisings, quakers, rice farmers in India, vietnam...all know how to work as teams

But you seem to be saying there are more males at the higher end of their looks spectrum than females. I suppose once you factor in all the fatties and the fact that women age badly compared to men, that might be true.

I have already rejected a bunch of women who don´t meet my standards, and it´s not the case that I´m creating unrealistic expectations.

About their survival and reproductive advantage, I don´t know if they are hotter, or if it is simply male hormones who are very easy to mess with... Look we know that most pedophiles are men, and what prisoners do to each other... Any women who is not repulsive will be selected...

Well, as an old guy, let me just say this: It's true that men are attracted to signs of good fertility (youth, basically), that never changes. But your tastes do change a little bit when you get older. I know when I was your age I viewed pretty much anyone over 30 as disgusting and over the hill. Although curiously, I did have a bad crush on a 36 year old woman at one point.

But now, I have known some absolutely smoking hot women who were in thier 30s. Some of the hottest women I've known were in thier 30s, in fact. So I think you do develop a taste for girls over 25 as you get older. The key thing is whether or not they stay in shape, but as you say that is getting rarer these days.

It's a combination of both, I think.

I think back in the day, women were better looking. Right up through the 90s they were better looking. They made themselves up, went to the hairdressers, wore dresses and heels and tights, etc. I still have fond memories of the 90s filled with smoking hot women, including the moms of some of my classmates, even though I was only a little guy. It made a strong impression.

These days? Men by far. I've seen way more guys that were confident and totally ripped at the gym and elsewhere than women. Most women have totally let themselves go not only in terms of fashion but in terms of their bodies.

I attribute it to feminism (lack of care in how they dress, trying to be equivalent to men) lack of exercise, a bad diet, and the fact that women don't smoke anymore, therefore far less of them are skinny with nice figure because they are all pigging out (by the way a study came out a couple years ago from the world health organization saying that 2nd hand smoke risk is complete BS plus another study corroborating that, also if you stay under 10 pack years there is next to no risk of negative health effects for smoking. Nanny state strikes out again). Anyway, lastly I think they're getting so much attention on Facebook that you've got 4s thinking they are 7s and 7s thinking they are 10s. No reason to put in any extra effort.
