"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Beating your drum and tooting your own horn is great, but let the women you date do the bragging for you, otherwise you are a nothing more than a try hard.

Thoughts?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Some people don't like people bragging. They are not willing to listen to it. So they avoid them or try to change that behavior.
If they wanted they could offer Value by listening to it but are not willing too Personally I would spend some time listening to someone say they are the greatest rather than call them a try hard and not like them because of it. It takes less energy just to acknowledge someone saying they are great than to talk behind their backs and thinking they need to not brag.

As with someone whether its a male or female who brags for you that just seems to give more evidence that you are great in a lot of peoples minds. It's a great marketing tactic as well and people who try and sell stuff use testimonials all the time to sell their products and services. Its also a great tool to find employment. Ever wondered why employers ask for references when you apply for employment in their businesses? A reference is just a brag saying you were a good employee with the required skills maybe.

Whether or not the testimonials are true or not can be questioned as well. Its pretty easy to have someone lie and say your products helped them. People are willing to lie for someone as a favor with no cash exchanged or for money. Happens all the time in business.

Having mutual admiration and expressing it to/on behalf of each other it the best sincere endorsement. More than once a fellow man was complimentary about me when i was there with a woman and it had quite the panty dropping effect.

Here's a question...

If you know you are "a great catch", why would you ever need to brag?
