Update to this thread: So I finally got her to reply to me on facebook today. I checked in with her just to make sure she didn't feel I was a jerk or in the wrong for what went on that night...because you know some girls like to twist reality.

She says "I don't like the events that transpired last time. And if you must know, i am std-free. that was offensive, but of well." Im like o.0 ...lol

Wow, just wow. So now its offensive to protect my health as well as the health of others? Ok. Sure thing tootz. Considering how high STD rates are in the black community (especially among black women) youd think Id be applauded for being a responsible adult regarding this stuff.

PS - Sure a woman can lie about her status...but it says a lot about a woman who balks at the STD question, or doesn't ask you about your status herself. Just think about the kind of men she might be screwing, and if she doesn't like the STD question, she might even be the type to smash dudes raw.

PPS - Always be ready to turn down sex, no matter how hard its being thrown at you.

Considering her past and present behavior, it makes sense that a promiscuous girl be taken aback by my question.

That said Ive NEVER had ANY other woman take issue with this question. They've actually been relieved that I asked before they did. And Ive been asked by women before too, and I have no issue with it.

Of course I cannot 100% trust the chick. But asking helps flag certain women, like the girl in question. Her response made it clear that I shouldn't proceed.

PS - wrapping it up does NOT protect against skin to skin contact. And heck, what about oral? People don't wrap up then. So condoms aren't 100% either. A clean girl you can trust is a better bet than a condom.

It's not just about your health. It's about your mental sanity and peace of mind.
It's better to have an unpleasant talk than to have an infection take over your body or even kill you. I have had personal STD scares myself and it's completely not worth it. Get your own tests done to demonstrate your clean and approach it from a perspective of the other person's well-being. If you do, she will feel compelled to reciprocate. If she doesn't, you're now on a higher moral ground to task for her test results.

Wrap it up and never, ever rely completely on a woman for contraception. The burden will be on you for 18 years of your youth.

Up to 90% of the people who test positive for herpes have never had a symptom. A lot of STDs can be carried and transmitted unknowingly. I think most STD transmission is unknowing. So asking the girl first is not going to help very much. It's not nearly the same thing as getting tested together.

Condoms are about 50% in their reduction of hsv & hpv. That doesn't make tham a bad idea, but your good judgment in choosing who, and more importantly who not to fvck is a lot more effective.
