Meeting women online

I posted in the Mature forum, but thought maybe I shoul dpost this here also as more people read in here.
I have just relocated to a new city, I consider myself to be a recovering AFC. Because I do not have many connections here, I have started to flirt with and meet women online. I have a tendency to get one-itis with chicks and I am trying to break that. There was this woman I was exchanging IM's with, and I thought things were going well. She is out of state now but will be back in a week. I was realy starting to get into her, and we were joking and teasing. She has no kids, my body type, similar interest, and good rapport. A couple days ago she was online and she did not start instantly talking like she usually does. I sent her a hello and never got anything in return. I should probably write her off as well but I am sad and dissappointed she no longer seems interested. I figure I have nothing to lose if I try to re-establish something, but am not sure how to go about doing it without coming across as a total AFC.
One thing I did with this gal is that I always ended it first, not for any game play but because I had to get to bed about 9:30. She even sent a kissing smiley to me. She was always the last to say goodbye as well, perhaps she thought I wasn't into her?

my god you don't even know if it's a woman you're talking too first off. Also I find working on girls over the net gives you a false sense of confidence because you have no accountability.

You said you don't really have any conncections where you are yet and in my world connections are everything. So If I were you I'd be working round the clock to change that.

It's not what you know but who you know that gets the wheels turning.

I'm not saying its not possible to meet cute girls over the internet. I know alot of girls who prefer net dating because it gives them a sense of security as opposed to blind dating.

Honestly though the time you spend trying to meet one girl on line could be much better spend weighing your options in a public place. I'm 100% confident that me working in an open location (Shops, stores, casinos, malls, libraries and the like) is lightyears more effective and meaning full then a person trying to game girls over the net.

Of course gaining good social status and working well in the real world requires you to make major sacrifices. For instance you might actually have to leave your house and do some footwork as opposed to waking up and jumping on your gateway while watching daytime TV. You may also actually have to go out with your co workers after your shift ends!! When friends call you because they know of a slamin high roller party, you may actually have to present yourself in a respectable manner in order to get some good connections going.

I know all of that sounds horrible, but it's the simple choices that are the most difficult, and even if you are a sucessful net dater, I still think you're not doing your overall social status any favors.

But that's just my opinoin, I could be totally wrong and net dating may be the best thing since sliced bread... Which ever, ball's in your court.

Hey man I ain't trying to brag but I was AFC once too, I just moved 3 maybe 4 months ago and ****ed 3 girls allready.

Just my opinion, I hate ****ing personals. I'm sure everyone has tried it, I have myself and all I got were girls that were way fatter than inputed on their keyboards.

Keep in mind we have a pretty good set up where we live RK. They don't get to partake in the same kind of exposure we do.

Although it's been kind of a sausage fest since March madness hit. I left the Hard Rock last night early because I didn't feel up for the amount of sword fighting I'd have to do.

Hey PR your absolutely right. I actually gamed 2 of the chicks at my part-time job, you wouldn't beleive how many hot girls come in. Best decision I ever made. I work at the Starbucks on Eastern and Horizon, you should hit it up sometime but I only work mornings. Have a latte and say hello bro.

No kidding! I live on Silverado and Maryland (Really close to Silverado and Eastern). We cruise down eastern alot to get around McCarren. After I get my ride fixed I'll be sure to stop in.

Damn I didn't know you still had your ride giving you problems. You should definitly stop in though. I actually have a friend that I went to high school back in florida with who lived right on silverado too.

Don't worry too much about the car. I'm gettin it fixed this week for shizzle. Then I'll be up to my old tricks again...after I find a new job... which won't really be hard...I think.
