girl im in LTR is big on meeting my fam, thing is i dont like to introduce girls to my fam cuz my parents r a little tradional in that sense so i dont wana do it unless wer long n steady

how do i avoid her bringing it up without looking like im ashamed of her

I think sitting here down and being completely honest is the way to go. I don't see any need to sugar coat anything. I would also make sure you tell her how important she is to you and how much you think of her. In this scenario, I think its more important to comfort her, than worry about displaying too much feelings. You can go back to being a DJ afterwards and not really worry about the drawbacks.

Have you met her parents? How did that go? Maybe bring her parents on board about the situtation with your parents, by being open with them, it might show a level of trust and that your not hiding anything. They might also take your side and prod her in the right direction.
