"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I recently broke up with my g/f. She recently broke up with hers. Her ex is banging a bunch of other girls and moved on. But she still thinks there's hope with them two.

We both still talk to our exs but me and her have a thing together. We've hung out and kissed so far. And we connect extremely well. I think we'd be great as a couple.

What are the possibilities of making a relationship work based on our situation. Ultimately, it would be perfect to move on together and become something and drop contact with our exes. But what are your opinions?

PS: My ex hasn't moved on. I can easily bring her back but i don't want to if I can start this off with the new girl.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Its possible I'm sure but I myself have had nothing but pain come my way as the rebound guy.

If I were you and at the point you are now don't have strong feelings for the ex or the new girl I'd move on from both of them and look for chicks without baggage of either being my ex or the fresh recent ex of someone else.

You need RESPECT.

If she wants to be your girlfriend, she can break contact with the ex.

If [contact with her ex] is more important than [being your girlfriend], then DON'T GET INVOLVED!

(could still be an FB, though.)

dude, be careful.. seriously!!!

i never would suggest being the rebound guy.. every girl whos on the rebound is looking but u gotta make sure she actually wants to be with u. if ur both just looking for someone to vent with, then u should remain friends. if u want more, than go for it, but be careful.. i'd suggest staying her friend and finding someone else.. but thats just me

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm seeing a red flag. It was her first true love LTR of 18 months. He left her because he was cheating and partying and hooking up with too many chicks and going away to college. She's been hurt by him really bad but got over him in 2 months. Then she met me.. starting getting interested in me. I was interested in her. She started acting flakey so i hung out with my ex. She heard about it and then contacted her ex via phone or whatever for relief. Then she contacted me and said sorry for not contacting you sooner and me and her started talking and having flirty txt and phone convos.

Then we hit it off and were about to hang out until i read her blog:

"And all I could do besides blast my horn and try to get home as fast as I could, almost flipping my car in the process, was beg and yell for the girl in the backseat who was freaking out almost as bad as i was, to find my phone so I could call him and tell him I loved him, just in case."

Now she's only had sex with one guy. She's a HB9.5. Possibly HB10. When i've mentioned her to my guy friends they are think i'm king. She's high on social status around my small city. I'd really like to kick things off. The three times i've hung out with her. I've had kiss-close on the first night. More kissing during a party, then kiss-close on a hang out till 4am. So i thought I was making progress until that blog.

Her ex-boyfriend is steady hooking up and having sex with plenty of other chicks and she knows it but for some reason she still loves him. How do i handle this besides next'ing?

Look, a girl her age is falling in and out of love with her ex-bf every hour. Stop analyzing every little word she says.
What about ACTIONS? Is she willing to hang with you ?

How do i handle this besides next'ing?
If she's still seeing you, you're handling everything fine! Stop being so obsessive.

BUT, if she ever wants to be your girlfriend, then she'll have to break contact with the ex.

Til then, it's NONE OF YOUR DAM BUSINESS WHO SHE TALKS TO. Stop obsessing over what she feels. Let her worry about you.

Okay, so I should still see, talk and hangout with her while she's telling her ex-bf, "I love you"?

I guess i'm fearing being dropped because the ex is showing more interest as soon as he hears i'm hanging out with her. I mean. I'm friends with her ex too. And that'll cause some conflict.

Yes. Seriously, chicks will say they love a guy, then go do what the feel like doing (which might be you, in this case!)

DUDE! ANY chick could drop you at ANY time for NO REASON AT ALL!

Fear is the mind killer. And you aren't even seeing her for real, so you can't be dropped! Just keep doin your thing, until she ACTS like she's not into you. Does she ever initiate kissing/touching with you? If she cuts back on the affection, there's your answer.

Her Actions. That's all you need to think about.

She stops touching you. Or she says she's too busy to answer the phone when you call or hang out with you.

She aint gonna say "I'm not interested."
