So I've been seeing this girl for a month. I've been playing all my cards right. not seeing her that often, not calling every day but still doing enough to let her know I'm interested and for the first 3 dates she was all about it. She threw every high IL signal in the book, even talking about when can she see me again before the date was over... Her friends all love me and tell me they're so excited that I met her because no guys have persued her in like a year so i'm thinking I got it made because this chick ain't bad looking to me...

So I call her last night to see if she wants to go to dinner tonight and she says "Ummmm. Maybe, let me call you tomorrow during the day I might be busy"

That's like saying "I might have something better to do but I'll keep you on stand by"

Am I wrong in thinking this girl has lost interest? Maybe time to next her.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Obsidian is right.

The mark of a woman with true high interest is her making an immediate counter offer if she can't go on a date with you at a certain date and time.

The only way this chick redeems herself is by calling you and setting up a date but its doubtful that she will.

Next until proven different by her.

maybe she wants to just chill in private together and fvck, instead of going on a 4th date. :eek:

either way I wouldn't overreact... Might be best to next her... but don't hold a grudge against her or anything. keep things friendly, cause she might be back around... very soon.

A lot of times I see the people on here put the blame on the women. So let me ask you a couple of questions.

Did you try anything with this girl during or after these three dates?
Kissing, groping, sex?

If not, then maybe she felt that you weren't aggressive enough. I'm willing to bet that you were an extremely nice guy. Gave her everything she wanted. Paid for every date. Opened every single door and was a perfect gentlemen the entire time. Yet after all of that you didn't make one move.

Just my guess. I could be wrong and if I am, disregard everything I've said in this post.

she's just looking if you put up with **** or not, and a friend prolly said she's playing to easy for you. When you called her and she said maybe, you answer: forget about it then what about ....(the following day your free, not the day after, you want to look like you have more to do than only having her around). That way you can at least plan something else, and not get screwed over when she says she can't and you'll show her you'll not easely become a slave :up:. Never let her use maybe against you!

Nope you're wrong. I've been reading on here for 4 years I wouldn't consider myself a DJ yet but my skills are a lot more honed than that...

Credos hit the nail on the head. In fact right after i hung up i was slamming my forhead going "Why the **** didn't i just say "nevermind then" when she gave me that maybe ****!

She called this morning at 9:00 and I didn't answer. A while later I got an email from her saying that basically she did have some things she needed to get done this afternoon but she would be able to get them done in time to have dinner. I didn't reply right away and she called again to make sure I got the message that she could go. I went ahead and went out with her but I cut the date short because she's just not very much fun... I'm already back home
