"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Choose, Awesomest Movie of all time, Or biggest flop ever to happen?

Mind you, this is just predicting, personally i think it'll be darkly awesome, but lacking in the original graphic violence (The flesh of fallen angels anyone?)

But those Valkyries look sick, MUCH better idea than the crazy annoying nightmares of the game.

"Ain't you a cop?"

"Not tonight..."

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yeah it looks good. Know what looks better? Watchmen. Its going to be incredible. They already cut it down to 2 hours and 45 minutes.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

This is the movie I'm looking forward the most to. I thought The Dark Knight was fantastic and people are hailing it as the best superhero movie ever but I don't think it amounts to the masterpiece of V for Vendetta, and to think that as comic books Watchmen is superior and was ranked as a top 100 novels of all time as a comic book.

Will this be based on just Max Payne 1 or 2?
Mostly Max Payne 1, but i'd seriously be shocked if they follow the original story line by line.

Honestly, i'd be surprised if they even somewhat follow the story. There's plenty of stuff that's in the trailer that makes no sense whatsoever.

Here's what i think is going to happen. Highlight to see

They don't start the movie with Max having his family murdered like the game did, instead, it starts with the part where max is in the river after getting some cement shoes . he brekas out, and sets up a meeting with alex. it then dives right in and probably has their version of the Roscoe St Subway shootout before the scene with beau bridges and explaining what happened to Max's family.

Max, attemping to find WTF happened at the Subway, chases down a lead he gets there and finds Lupino as well as the other original characters.

This is probably where it gets all f'ed up. the people all coked out on V are dying in peculiar ways (remember the trailer where the guy is seemingly yanked out of the window by the demon?) and mona says "WTF did we just see?"

When Max finally confronts Lupino (in what appears to be a machete vs shotgun battle) Somehow Aesir Corp comes out. Max does his digging, Mona ****s his brains out. and he ends up going to that underground lab/vault and realises his wife found out about Aesir trying to use V as a supersoldier serum, then finding that it was a freaking crazy LSD type high, decided to profit from that.

They killed her to keep her shut up. So Max is damned pissed and somehow, (maybe Mona tells him) he finds out that a ship in the harbor has a **** load of heavy weaponry or a big shipment of V. (in the trailer, he jumps off the boat with hardly anything, a bit sus)

Anyways, he decides to stage a one-man assault on Aesir after doing... something with the evidence he got earlier.

In the course of killing most of horne's men, her right hand man captures him. And decides to seriously **** him up. so he drugs him up bad and sets the whole floor to explode. Destroying the evidence of their selling V, and killing Max at the same time. This is where that Constantine-esk scene with Max screaming and the demons closing in on him is likely to be.

He manages to 'beat his demons" and goes up to the helipad where he proceeds to anally rape Horne by shoving her own helicopter up her ass as he shoots it down :p

Since Woden isn't anywhere to be seen (and i don't think he's credited) Max either

A: Dies an honorable death and lets the Valkyries take him to Valhalla and his wife

or

B: He survives, Mona dissapears (whether she gets shot or not) and he has little choice but to go to jail. But he got his vengeance.

No f*cking way

That movie sucked on toast. Thank god the girl i was with paid for that sh*t. It make exactly NO sense in the least. There was a feeble attempt at a plot but it didn't last very long. The only thing I got out of that evening was meeting a vice president of one of the new hotels opening up here in vegas soon. Save your money kids, I liked the Max Payne video games, but I'm telling you straight up, no BS, that movie was HORRIBLE! Save your money and rent it.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I was afraid of that. I wanted to go see because I loved the games but decided to wait. I'm getting sick of GREAT video games getting slaughtered when they go to the silver screen

I enjoyed the movie because I'm a huge fan of the Max Payne video games (plus, i'm a huge fan of crime dramas).

I can understand how people would've gotten lost with the plot but if you really know the plots and characters from both video games, you'd appreciate the movie plot. You see it's very difficult to condense stories from 2 full video games into hour and a half long movie.

The action sequences were very poetic and amazing. They used just the right amount of bullet time slow motion special effects. They stayed consistent with the video games' environment for most of the movie. If you enjoy sweet fight scenes, you'll appreciate the movie.

Acting was pretty good too. Mark Wahlberg portrays Max Payne very well because Wahlberg has this badass vibe to him. And we all know how much of a badass he was in The Departed. Mila Kunis was alright as Mona Sax. She could've been better though. But still pretty hot to see a totally smoking babe with a submaching gun. :D

And Ludacris...well I was surprised to find that he was a pretty good actor portraying Burvara. He didn't have much screen time which is good because lot of skeptics would've hammered the movie because of that. I think if they make a sequel, they should utilize him more though.

Speaking of sequels, don't forget to stay after the credits. There is a scene at the end that suggets a sequel. I didn't stay after the credits but I read about it and wasn't surprised because the way the movie plays out at the end (before the credits) hints at a possiblity of a sequel.

Good movie, overall. I'll say it again, if you haven't played Max Payne or aren't familiar with it, don't go in expecting a superb storyline. Because you'll only walk out with having watched some cool action sequences.
