Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

What the hell is MAVEC?

Is this some legitimate technique? Or is this just some NAUJTCTSOOTN ? (New Acronym Used Just To Confuse The Shyt Out Of The Newbies)

Why are we out here to complicate things for everybody else? I went through that idea that eveything should be given an acronym as a way to codify what we talk about so that the untrained person will look here and be like 'WTF?'... really though, when you think about it there's no need for any more acronyms than we already have (untill someone pulls something useful out of a hat)... I mean; EC, BF, GF, HB(1-10), AFC, RAFC, PUA, DJ, #close, fclose, kino, etc.

These are accepted because they are used so often, but when you start using you're own acronyms before they are generally accepted by the group, please just give a side note as to what it actually means.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

who cares
mavec cant be refered by everyone as a technique they would want to use unless experimenting occurs.... approaches with no eye contact, with little eye contact, with normal eye contact, with normal DJ eye contact (one who doesnt really give a crap about MAVEC) and a DJ with a lot of mavec.

No eye contact and little eye contact should fail. Normal eye contact from a normal person and eye contact from an experienced player should be enough. I would predict that MAVEC would make no noticable difference.

This should be proved by many people a couple of times and if my prediction is correct the whole term should be scratched out bc i personally think its ridiculous.

The problem I see with this MAVEC is that there doesn't seem to be a way to prove it. Of course EC is good and necessary, but how can you really believe that it's MAVEC that's getting you laid? Is it impossible to believe that it could be for other reasons, besides making good EC? I think when a girl is attracted to you and your body language is confident and smooth that's all you really need. I think MAVEC boils down to having good EC and a number of "other factors" are involved in hitting that home run.

Ok, well, why would you go and make such a complicated term for what you might just as easily call 'sensual eye contact'. Even the acronym is simpler 'sec'.

If you're somewhat decent at picking up chicks you likely do this EITHER WAY!!! It's alot harder to get a chick turned on without looking her in the eyes, than to do so.

I don't need experimentation other than my life experience to say that for sure.

Unless you're saying that all you do is look girls in the eyes untill they rip off their clothes and jump at you pu$$y first?? Unless you've got exceptional good looks, this likeyl won't work for most guys...

Whatever...

Because it's fun to take old ideas and give them flashy names to make it seem like a new idea. :D I'm sure you could've taken five seconds to search and you'd have found the answer for yourself . . .

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

It's just funny, because I've been here a while and I've only really seen the term show up in the past week or two.

I'll admit it's a bit pretentious. I mean, it's just eye contact right? I guess you COULD call it MAVEC or whatever. Then again, I've never really been big on using acronyms. I think the only one I use is "gf". I just can't type the other ones without feeling like some sort of dork.

I mean, when I read some threads where people are calling eachother "AFC", I picture this group of nerdy kids at school, you know, the group of nerds that used to use acronyms all the time so people would ask them "what are you talking about?" and then they would giggle at the person who wasn't down with the dorktalk to feel smarter about themselves.

"Man...you are SO A F C!!!"

"No way man, screw you you fycking AFC!"

"Shut up guy, I'm a RAFC, moving up to DJ/RAFC, it's a hybrid!"

"Whatever man! *makes 'L' on forehead with fingers* You're just a KBJ! hehehe *giggles*"

See what I'm saying? Maybe it's just the cold medication talking. If this post made no sense then nevermind.
