Maui or Fiji, where to spend our honeymoon?

My wife-to-be and I are getting married in 3 months and we still haven’t finished planning where we want to spend our honeymoon. We both want to spend it on an island so we’re considering Maui and Fiji. This will be our vacation after a long time of not travelling together. I think the last time we spent time together on a different city or country is when we went on this Ukraine ski trip so we want this to be really enjoyable and memorable. Couples who frequently travel, which place would make a good honeymoon destination? Should we go to Maui or Fiji?
