Matchmaking service....this could be interesting.....

Today a lady stopped by my store and spoke with my business partner.

Turns out she has a matchmaking business, and is fairly well known locally. I guess she saw our tv show and wants to trade out :30 commercials on her tv show she is getting ready to produce.

It looks like she also wants us to come to the events she hosts for her clients.

I am assuming that she is trying to cash in on the wave that is being created with the new matchmaking show that just started this week. Good for her.

Anyway, this could be interesting because although I would never sign up for something like this, I won't miss any opportunity to promote my business, and despite the fact that I have a little hesitation about the kinds of people who WOULD sign up for a matchmaking service, i think it might be fun. Plus, she caters to upscale clientele, so how bad could it be?

Sometimes i love what I do.....always something interesting around every corner!

I won't give too many details, but lets just say that my marketing campaign revolves primarily around women and sex, so it's anything but ordinary.

All in all, I am stunned that anyone who WANT to pay someone in order to meet an American broad. I see tons of such services when in Ukraine. The Rus Hotel in Kyiv (up on the hill by the President Hotel) pretty much caters to hundreds of American dudes into that sort of thing. Not my cup of tea (learn a bit of Russian and you are set in Ukraine), but the interesting about those guys is that almost all of them are well to do men who at least know where the hell Kyiv/Kiev is. It definitely isn't how the feminist loving media portrays them to be.

Personally, I couldn't deal with a female business type of women. Thank God most of the world isn't as progressive as America is these days.

No, I am in real estate and have a retail store. I do some cross promotions with a strip club though.

Well, it's really no different than using match.com or any of the other dating sites, but with a personal touch.

With my busy schedule if I didn't already have some good solid social connections that allow me to meet women without too much effort (like if I moved from another city) I might for a second consider trying it. This is also assuming that I was actively looking for a mate.

Could be interesting to get to go on the inside and see what it's all about. And if there are any decent prospects i will automatically be at the top of the food chain. Can't beat that.

No, I don't work for anyone. I work for myself.

My business does some cross promoting with a strip club since we cater primarily to 18-24 yr old males. They supply me with girls to do tv commercials and such, and we give them airtime on our tv show in return. We also pass out free admission cards for them, and they pass out discount cards for us. Works well.
