"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Howdy. Long time no speak fellow Juans.

I consider myself (much thanks to you guys) a pretty good DJ.

I've had no problems up until this point. The last 5 or 6 girls I managed to lay the first time we hung out. It was fine at the time but I guess getting a little older I found myself wanting more.

I've been going through some changes in my life recently. All good ones. Decided to cut out the negative people, girls, and whatever else out of my life. Changed jobs, moving to another place...

Enough with the background on me...

I don't why but I tried out match.com about a month ago. Ended up meeting a girl.

She's a year younger than me (24), hung around the wrong people when she was younger but moved back to about a year ago. Works a lot, got back in college, really into fitness.

We went hiking together 2 weeks ago. Hit it off great. Went out to eat twice... Anytime I ask to hang out she's always up for it. All the signs are there.

I've got the same kind of past as hers, we've got a lot in common, same goals, etc.

My big hang up is I really like this girl. I've never had problems with girls before, but that's because I never really liked them. Funny how that works. It's nice feeling nervous around a girl again.

With that said, we've hung out a couple of times but I can't close for the kiss. It's frustrating but exciting at the same time for me.

I know I need to act soon. I've been casual about the entire thing so far. We hung out last night, which i guess would have been an official 2nd date. How should I go about it from here? What would you guys do. I know she's into me. And I'm into her.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

BEAST MODE [ON]
Invite over for a movie. (All girls from the age of 15 know this is code for svx)

Treat all girls the same never forget that. Just because you like her doesn't make her any more special than the last one YET.

If you don't at least go for the kiss, you'll be relegated. (You already know this).

She is not special.
She is not special.
She is not special.

Peace.

So the last 5 or 6 women you slept with on the first date - yet, all of a sudden, you can't figure out how to escalate with this one?...Give your balls a squeeze bud.

Yeah c'mon man... oneitis after 2 dates? And you haven't even boned her? I was a putz when I was 25 but that's ridiculous.

Here's an idea... go out and work your charm on another girl like you did with the last half-dozen. Get her in your rotation, then this one won't seem like such a prize. She'll sense this and will start gobbling your c*ck like candy. Then you can dump the other one if you want (though I wouldn't recommend it).

Problem solved.

Ask yourself if it's just because you're older or because of this chick you want "more" or both reasons. You don't want to get desperate because you're older or just because of this chick. You did meet her online after all. Chicks online ARE looking for boyfriends and you could be hers IF you don't care about her past. (Which IMO is kindof foolish as leopards usually don't change their spots depending on what their past is, and chicks who use online dating have several red flags like 99% of the time.)

Now since you have a past and she does YOU may be willing to change SHE may be also but keep in control of your emotions meaning don't just ignore any red flags that pop up just because YOU want more at this point. Go for it anyway but not with eyes wide shut.

Going out to eat is good. But don't get stuck in that provider role. Especially not in the beginning.

IF you are willing to not ignore common sense for emotions and get screwed over in the end by becoming a full blown pushover for this chick you met online then GO FOR IT. I'm not saying she's "horrible" as I don't know her from a can of paint but you seem after TWO dates to be putting your emotions and need for "more" past the fact you've met her ONLINE, only went on TWO dates, and she has a rocky past as you've stated. Now IF you can keep common sense seperate from emotion and play it out and see how things go...again...GO FOR IT.

You are most likely thinking of previous chicks and how easy it was and you don't want to think of her like those "other easy chicks". You can't think that way or you're going to friendzone yourself. I'm not saying to go full pervert on her but go for it. KISS HER. Try to force yourself to not trip over yourself just because you want to and are going to kiss her.

Force yourself to believe YOU are a whole person WITH or WITHOUT her and she's a part of your life till you both possibly grow and become one. I hope you are not taking what I'm telling you as negative. Just keep your frame as a complete man BEFORE, DURING and possibly AFTER her so you don't fall helplessly for her and POSSIBLY wind up getting screwed in the end. (Not that that's "definitely" going to happen but keep being a MAN.)

You've got to go for that kiss. Forget your own past, forget the past chick, forget how much you like this new chick as all of those things are going to c0ckblock you mentally from going for it with this chick. KISS HER NEXT TIME.

When all else fails listen to My way. Frank Sinatra and GO FOR IT!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
