i agree with everyone saying you made one of the most basic mistakes in relationship game. never ever ever ever never ask a girl to be your girlfriend. I did it before when i was younger and it didnt work out very well. i learned from that and haven't done it since. You want the girl to be complaining to you, asking why you won't tell anyone shes your girlfriend. Asking YOU when you are going to be a couple.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
