There’s a lot of talk these days about what it means to be a “good man” and to “have a backbone.”

But for many of us, especially those who didn’t grow up with strong role models or clear guidance from their parents, or that just mimic "wrong examples", this idea can easily get confused.
Some might mistake it for simply getting angry to earn respect, or raising their voice to assert dominance.

So here’s a question:
What are some of the best examples, whether from movies, interviews, or real-life situations, where men show true strength of character and stand their ground, especially with women or with other men, but do so in a healthy, respectful, and grounded way?

(I'm Italian so if you find some Italian example it would be amazing)

When Neville Chamberlain allowed Germany to annex Czechoslovakia to appease Hitler and tried to avoid WWII, it made me think his backbone was as strong as a wet noodle.

I was kidding about the above but as an Italian you have a rich history to draw from. Marcus Aurelius is a respectable one worth reading about and trying to apply. Aurelian, he did a lot for the lower class. Then you got the more depraved one's like Caligula (don't follow this example).

Thanks for coming in guys!
Those are good references, but we are actually looking for something we can see, like a video.
We need to see gesture, body language, tone of voice, rhythm, and also, the other person reaction.
Many things a book can't tell you.

So if you have any good reference (video), please put here.

As men, we need to have good visual guide of what we should be.
And ispire to those values
