Martial Arts-One Way to Build True Confidence

I have been thinking of taking a martial arts class for awhile now. There is one being offered at my university, Beginning Karate. Should I take it? I don't want to get a bad class compared to somewhere else.

Most university programs have qualified instructors, if not exceptional. The University of California has an good offering throughout their campuses from Aikido to Ninjuitsu to Capoeira and much more.
