I want to hear from mature dudes who are married happily and for a long time, preferably not those who has been married. How did you know it was her you wanted to merry?
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
You got lucky.LiveFreeX said:You will know. I knew within the first minutes, it was a thought that popped up strangely into my head when I first met her... considering I was completely against marriage when I met her, it was a bizarre first thought. Kinda like "I'll end up marrying you".
5 years later, still married, very few problems.
I got a really REALLY weird vibe while dating this girl though. There was 0 game req'd, no negs, no sh1t tests, no nothing, everything just sort of fell into place and I wasn't really interested in dating her... I kept thinking, why am I with this girl!?!? I didn't feel 'butterflies' at all, I felt like I was hanging around my mother. And.... strange enough, her and my parents share such a strong connection despite her being Chinese and my mom and dad being white, they all act the same way.
I'm quite close to my mother and for the first time I was able to tell my mom, hey don't worry anymore about someone taking care of me, I found her and it was the best decision I've ever made. My wife was a virgin though, might have had something to do with it. I bought her a nicer wedding ring recently for $500 and she complained all day long that I spent too much money on something that was basically junk, she would have been ok with one of those dollar store rings instead.
I knew for a fact that I made the right decision when the bill for the marriage came in at something like $2.00
You will know, it will be so effortless to be with the person, it'll be like talking to yourself and hearing a response in a woman's voice.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
There is luck...LiveFreeX said:"You don't believe in the Force, do you?"

Maybe I don't qualify to answer this because I wasn't married that long. We were married about six years, but we were together for 10. I'd say five of those years were happy ones. Anyway:backseatjuan said:I want to hear from mature dudes who are married happily and for a long time, preferably not those who has been married. How did you know it was her you wanted to merry?
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
