"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Marriage History

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i think if you search some history channel data base, you would find that the city states in bc time intervened into marriage, making you get married in front of witnesses.
i could be mistaken but i really think it started happening long before the 1500s.

i would think marriage has been around for as long as people have lived in tribes.

but the conventional sense of marriage has been around since the romans.

the religious sense of marriage has been around since the date you stated.

im sure a somewhat traditional sense of marriage was part of the orient before the romans as well.

Define marriage. In many cultures the man took the woman home publicly and they were married. Sometimes there was an exchange of goods that went with it.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

That a man should mate with a woman and be together as a couple is mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures, penned by Moses around 3000 years ago, and rumor has it, this started with Adam and Eve. No one throughout history has ever rebuked that claiming that it started with anyone else, so figure it goes back a long, long time.

In ancient days, and down to today, the couple's intent to marry would involve some form of public demonstration that served to acknowledge the union in front of witnesses or village elders, what we would call a "ceremony". Then churches got involved basically because they're power wh0res, and eventually the government took over. Now, marriage is a civil contract that, insofar as religion is involved, clergy need a gov't license to officiate when they perform the ceremony. which is why you'll hear them say, "and now with the powers vested in me by the State of... I now pronounce you husband and wife".

This ceremony has evolved, in some cultures, where it's all about the bride. This is to impress upon the male that he ought to deem himself lucky to be there and be had by her. And in most cases, he will be had by her.

It's all summed up in the movie "Father Of The Bride", where the groom-to-be asks the wedding planner, "And what should I do?", to which the wedding planner replies, "See the guy on top of the cake? Dress like him and show up."

I was at a Hindi wedding, and wow, the groom dresses like a King and rides up on a gilded horse to the bride while everyone dances in joy before him, and he is then honored by his wife-to-be when she greets him and adorns him with garlands.

If western wedding ceremonies were really taking the guy into account, they'd involve some sort of fishing trip and a couple of strippers, that's what I say. But I digress.

Since its humble beginning with whoever was the first couple, it has spread like wildfire throughout the world and all civilizations down through the ages, to where nowadays most people either are married, have been married, or know someone who is or has been married. They may even have a married person in their family. If you are approached by marriage, please be cautious.

Marriage has been around for millenia. Read the Bible (the real Bible).

Marriage, at least a recognized lifelong union between a man and a woman, was mentioned as early as the book of Genesis. The legalism and religious implications of marriage have certainly changed, but the basic premise of marriage is as old as the hills.

Marriage was around long before monotheism. Moses was not that long ago in human history. There were many thriving cultures all over the world 10,000 to 100,000 years ago. Marriage would have been there as well. If prostitution is the oldest occupation, marriage would be the oldest contract. The original version was something like:

I, the man, will protect and feed ____, the woman.

I, the woman, will fvck, suck, cook, clean, and raise kids.

I want these to be my wedding vows :)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

A lot of women say that's unfair, to which I offer to trade. Well, no, they don't want to be the earner EITHER. Western women
