One thing I have noticed is the 99% of the personnel actively involved in this search and investigation for the remaining suspect (at least as I can delineate from the police scanner and TV) is that they are all male.

So despite all the brew-ha-ha regarding women in combat, in the force, in security, etc.....when it comes down to true business, it is quite clear who the [american] people depend upon. To an extent this leaves me with a slimmer of hope that most people will see the light that there is a natural and biological mechanism in place that overrides the political correctness ubiquitous in our country.

If you listen to the police scanner, you can hear them subtlety complaining how annoying media personal are being every once in a while. The fact they actually have to use resources to restrain media members from getting their own asses hurt is just a waste.
