Noticed something that cracked me up last night when I was fishing.
Where I live we have a little bit of a phenomenon going on in the sea. This Bioluminescent plankton lights up waves this electric blue colour.
I decided to go fishing with my buddy to view the light show and catch some fish.
So the beach is pretty empty, dark , quite isolated and peaceful. Spectacular light show going on.
Women dig this sort of thing and obviously it was being shared on social media. As there was a steady stream of couples coming to the beach (that tended to go off together), groups of people ( which made a secluded spot of the beach their own), and their was the women on their own or in pairs (what I want to talk about).
Can you guess where the women that braved the dark beach alone / in pairs chose to hang out?
With us!! The only two people in the dark openly carrying knives on their belts!!!
Obviously we were quite accommodating, talked to the steady stream of women about the light show, didn't moan at them when they walked into our lines , didn't get mad at them for getting in our way when trying to cast.
I even went went out into the water with a couple of different girls that had joined us at different stages of the night.
What I found though the situation was quite ironic, the beach was huge. Not a lot of people on it at any one time, so a ridiculous amount empty space to enjoy it without needed to be remotely close to another person.
Yet instinctively the women that were alone or in pairs, that obviously felt vulnerable in the dark instinctively found the feeling of safety with us.
Which is very opposite to the type of drivel you hear online like that man Vs bear in the woods thing.
Where women say they would choose to come across a bear when alone in the woods rather than a man.
No real point to this post, apart from don't always take what you see online as truth , or what women say to heart as often in the real world, things are different.
